My grandparents worked at the OG Russell factory in Alexander City for years until they got bought out by Fruit of the Loom in 2006. There was a little Russell retail store by the factory that was shaped like a piece of pie and raised up by columns.

Kith is douchey rich people brand for people w/ no style. I see a lot of out-of-towners with that stuff. It is trash. People that buy that stuff are just paying for the name. Kith stuff looks like some random Urban Outfitters stuff. People in the real world don't care about Kith or wear it. I see 10,000-15,000 people a day at my job. No one wears that stuff basically.

These are fun at size 4XL. They get so baggy in all the right places. Sleeves are thicker than the beams at Grand Central Station, and it will really go down to the knees!!
I love me some vintage Russell Athletic I feel like the crewnecks are a lot more easier to find as I have a variety of colors that I've thrifted but for some reason the hoodies and sweatpants are a lot more harder to find in my area I was able to find one hoodie and one sweatpant so far but i'm going to keep looking.

Russell has become my favorite ever since I found a random hoodie in his shop and had the best softness. my question is what crewneck do they have now, that would be a true vintage feel, no stiff sides, that would make good blanks for a project I have in mind. Paid advertisement by Russell. They have always been a cheap but decent manufacturer of sweatshirts/hoodies/sweatpants. They are exactly the same quality as Champion, Hanes or Fruit of the Loom. They are definitely not a cool brand or worth a lot of money. I've been thrifting almost 30 years, not gonna buy into the "label" hype BS. You are a sucker if you are paying a lot for labels, just making resellers rich. They are buying this stuff for $1-$5 maybe. Just go to your local thrift store and find something on your own.
