Thanks for sharing your experience to us, we were lucky enough to import UK spec C4 1996 A6 1.9TDI in Emerald Green to india and used it for 20 years, sadly C4 chassis which were early Audi 100 did not sell in huge numbers globally and finding parts or good mechanic became difficult so sold it to someone who had the time and patience for it and I wished we could get a C6 A6 like yours but settled for pre-facelift 2012 A4 2.0TDI S line instead which will never make you feel like royalty but is a cheaper and easier car to understand and is good all round package, I have personally had 3 BMW's and my current E63 2008 6 series in UK makes me feel the same how you feel about your A6.

You are missing fuel quality which is bad in india compared to other countries. Diesel cars are affected most by this. Problem tan ani he hai, it's just a matter of how much you can delay it by driving calmly.
This is ZF6HP gearbox used in 2.7 Tdi engine. CVT was used in 2.0 Tdi engine also known as multitronic. CVT cannot handle the torque of a 3.0 diesel engine.

Bhai never keep in D mode during traffic stop. Heats up the transmission and reduces longevity. Love your driving skills.
