I love the shift from Harley’s dream to the reality of the relationship
Their relationship is so wild, sad, and chaotic. Harley loved Joker and would do anything for him while he was abusive and only loved himself. But I think there was a point where Joker fell in love too and couldn’t have the weakness so became more abusive and when they broke up he continued being himself to forget her while Harley took time to get over him and the abuse she went through. I love this couple but they’re also very sad. I’m also so glad that Harley eventually found healthy and fruitful love in Poison Ivy. 🃏🖤♦️
Agree with everything you said! It's such a complicated relationship. Joker has some sort of feelings for Harley and his feelings for others are just always destructive considering Batman is the person he cares about the most and we all know how he shows it. So yeah, it's his version of 'love' when he wants to kill her because he hates that he cares about her
@@alanacrane I completely agree! It’s sad for both of them. For Harley because of the abuse and manipulation she went through for years without the love and future with Joker she imagined and believed was true and would happen. Then Sad for Joker too that he is so caught up in himself and his love for Batman that when he falls in love with Harley, someone who loves him back and adores him, he pushes her away and can’t handle it the right way and becomes even more terrible to her and can never have her.💔

This is a great video about them. Unfortunately, their love is not a familiar story with a good ending. There is a lot of pain, glass and betrayal here. The video is gorgeous

I think I am the only one who actually understands Joker. Of course he loves Harley, guys, cmon! Isn’t it obvious? He loves her, if he wouldn’t love her he would kill her. He abuses her and tries to make her leave because…he believes in that love is weakness. And somehow, I think he is right

aah, thank you very much for this sweet comment! I agree with you, she also expressed how she was attracted to dangerous personalities so it's not like she was oblivious of who Joker was. People seem to forget that she is/was a villain and willingly joined Joker, he never forced her to do anything. But yeah, she still didn't deserve all the betrayal and abuse. Btw the Harley Quinn show is really fun, not as good as BTAS but totally worth checking out! :)

I truly wouldn't call them a beautiful couple, Harley loves Joker, but Joker treats Harley like an object, he doesn't give two shits about her, the whole relationship is the most toxic couple of DC Comics

@@pavvin it isnt really true you know. Even Harleys creator Paul Dini confirms that Joker really loves Harley (in his own way) and she was never just a victim of him. Their relationship is more complex than just "toxic and abusive". It´s a shame that DC pushes her in a victim role to let her shine in a more positive way to please younger fans

Harley from 2004 series is the only version where this whole "poor, seduced, abused" doesn't apply. She's really just an a**hole here. Joker just let her put it up on a new level.

The day the Ayer Cut gets released and you get to add all the scenes where Jared's Joker abuses Margot and the final bit when she stands up to him and "defeats him" is going to be a glorious day.
If we even get it at this point. I'm still hoping for it, it's a shame we never got to see how their actual relationship went
@@alanacrane it's a shame that DC made him dump her off screen in Birds of Prey instead of using Suicide Squad to show how abusive the Joker is and to let her stand up for herself in front of him (and not a random male villain from Gotham).

@@alanacrane The sad thing is that now that they're gonna soft-reboot with the Flash to put aside the "Snyderverse", Jared is never gonna play the character again (cause his Batman is definitely gonna die or be erased) and Margot will never get the chance to "defeat" him.
@@ferdinandofallica5869 Yeah, I've been following the whole mess too and I don't think the soft reboot will fix anything at all. They won't have a Batman, Joker or Superman in the DCEU lol. I just hope for the Ayercut release and I have more faith in the standalone movies like The Batman or Joker.

Thank you so much! It's hard to predict that since everything Todd Phillips does is very different from the original. I think it's going to be more like the Harleen Comic than anything else since that was the darkest and one of the best Harley stories I've read
