Awesome David. Would be great to see a full video of you working on the trees. I have a few shimpakus I’m working on as a beginner so your videos are a godsend, especially as we’re based in the same area (Melbourne).
For initial styling I use aluminium for the big branches and then copper for the twigs and smaller branches. For conifers trees in refinement I use copper.
Thank you, David!
Each of your videos is another step forward for me!
Amazing..so beautiful juniper 😍

What time of year did you do this? Awesome tree!
Can’t remember exactly but by the looks of my t shirt and the sunshine would have be late summer
Awesome video! Do you use copper or aluminum wire for juniper trees?
For initial styling I use aluminium for the big branches and then copper for the twigs and smaller branches. For conifers trees in refinement I use copper.
@@Bonsaiworx Got it, thank you!
Hey David, where do you get your trees? I live in Melbourne too and I am just getting into bonsai.
Mostly though my club Bonsai Northwest Melbourne at our show and other sales events. Grow a lot myself as well.
Bravo
Do you sell trees like that in Melbourne?
Sometimes I do sell trees like this but I can’t keep up with demand. Don’t have anything for sale at the moment.
