- Ven Candā re-emerges from her 3 month long vassa retreat to give us this sincere and candid talk on her experiences along the way in a way that is both relatable and applicable. Venerable relates how, although we may not know where we are on the Buddha's path of awakening, we can still ground ourselves knowing that we are on it, however long it may take.
These teachings are freely offered so as to be accessible to all. I recall watching Ajahn Sumano on the Monk in the Mountain six-part series on UA-cam and he was being asked many questions about the mind and the self. He said he'd spent most of his life as a Buddhist monk in Thailand and was asked the question where/what is the mind, the self? He replied, "I don't know because there was never anybody there in the first place!"

Thank you, losing the "self" and I might say the "ego", is scary but can be done. Or we might say being more aware of when the ego pops up.
