this is a video of me picking up my new hedge trimmer .im excited to use it soon i think it will be very helpful check out this vlog • STIHL BR 700☆SPLITTING...
Aim so old school....I keep 4 trimmers and 2 of them are fs 80's.... For weekly mowing I never get over half throttle....I check the compression each winter and they are still in very good condition....too good to get rid of really....thinking of adding an electric to the mix this year to help out some
I had 2 of those fs94 we had alot of hot start issues with them my dealer had to refund me my money they changed the carbs on them twice and nothing then the cog starter broke it was so many issues that my dealer just refunded me my money I only had them for 3 months and I just got the new echo extreme Articulated hedge trimmer couldn't be happier I hope you don't go what I went threw bad exp keep an eye on that specially in the summer months.
@@tonyslawncare Yeah tony and it gets worse in the summer months take it back to your dealer or call stihl and bitch at them I did and they told me they were going to look into it but apparently they haven't echo had those same issues a couple of years ago but they fixed those hot start issues good luck man.
Great vid as always I’m in the market this spring for KM model with hedge Trimmer any suggestions I’m looking at The Sthil 56 and 94R I don’t have that many accounts with hedges but I want something strong so I can attach a broom sweeper or chain saw as well . Thanks Tony keep rockin
You said you had to adjust the valves on you're km 130, how long after you bought it did you have to get it done. Did you do it yourself or did you have the dealer do it. Was it expensive? Just bought km 131.
That looks a beauty. I hope it runs well for you, can you tell me is that model commercial or homeowner? Is there any special extras like ergo start etc anti vibrations etc. Happy trimming! 😊
I just purchased an HL94 and I have a question... I have an older HS45 and when it cuts the blades do not seem to make any noise at all. For this new unit (the HL94) the cutting blades seem "noisy" and almost seem to struggle a bit compared to the 45. I have lubricated the blades per the Stihl reps directions and didnt really notice any difference. Have any of you noticed this? It may be that is simply because this is one of the extended units and the cutters and gearbox are pole mounted vs hard mounted on the 45. I took it to the dealer and havent gotten an answer yet. Just wanted any experiences from you guys. thanks
Ralph Gonzalez hey buddy it makes some chatter because its a double action blades (cuts faster on dense shrubs) the 45 one blade cuts and one blade stays still so more chatter on the new one but the double blades are amazing!!!
Oh yeah buddy i use it daily if you watch my videos you will know i trim alot of shrubs!! Although when i get a new hedge trimmer im going all electric hedge trimmer batterys last forever my Milwaukee one last like 2 or 3 hours of shrub trimming on one charge !!
I’m thinking about just getting the straight attachment for my FS110R. I have probably have 5 yards with tall bushes and I’ve been doing them all with an HS45 24” and ladders. I just think the weight of the articulating would maybe be rough after running it some time. I was almost going to buy the Milwaukee m18 fuel with articulating hedge trimmer but I thought it might not be as good as a Stihl or echo gas unit. If I bought the battery powered I would also buy a 12ah battery.
The Milwaukee hedge trimmer is awesome!!!! I will plan to buy it eventually i already have the 24inch Milwaukee one. And the straight attachment for the km i have too great unit !!
