My sincere condolances to you and your familly. I am sure your parents are very proud of you and watching over you. All the best Sir, it was great to hear another Q&A. This gave me some thought and better insight.

For me the moment I fell in love with the samurai and japanese culture was when I was probably around 11 or so (I forget exactly how old I was) and I borrowed the dvd for the film "the last samurai" from my nan and i thought the samurai in the film was the coolest thing i had ever seen. I watched that film on repeat each night after for a good week and bought the dvd for myself after, and to this day i still sometimes cry at the end when watching it. My dad got me into martial arts by teaching me to protect myself cause of bullying at school. He convinced me to start training kickboxing which at the time I was too nervous and afraid to want to start, but he drove me down and convinced me to walk into that dojo and I've trained martial arts ever since. I now train with the bujinkan and stopped kickboxing due to complications with covid which sadly crippled many clubs. But if my dad hadn't got me through those doors I would've missed out on so much and I'm glad I went, because now I hope to train in martial arts for the rest of my life.

Interesting discussion Sensei. I like your outlook on the youtube ninjutsu/sword community as one of embracing all the different creators and contributors, rather than detracting and fomenting controversy.

Do you have any photos of the first sword set you spoke of in this podcast Sensei Norcross? I might know someone who could help with it.

Actually, there are only 8 named Soke for the 9 Ryu. Gikan Ryu and Takagi Yoshin Ryu were given to one person.

Is anyone in the bujinkan talking about thing's going on around the world as we are clearly at war?
