2:35 Not everyone in America has a gun, and Willis' character in this movie is the sort of person who probably wouldn't. He's a wealthy urban professional living in a nice house in an upscale, safe neighborhood. Odds are he's never experienced serious violence in his life and never really expected it to happen to him. Or, if it did, that he wouldn't be able to de-escalate the situation by talking the guy down. He was, unfortunately, mistaken.
For those of us who know this film, we / I remember how we fell for it just as did you! It was kinda funny to see your reaction when the penny dropped! This film was I believe, written and directed by M Night Shyamalan, and if memory serves me right, it's the film in which he made himself known to the world, and thereafter with plot twists and such. 'Signs' with Mel Gibson, is another one of his that you might wanna have look at. The child actor - Joel Haley Osment also gained much recognition as a result of his portrayal of his character in the film. Great reaction! Much appreciated.
Re: beginning of the movie with Vincent - When someone seems unstable and becomes bare (or just bare feet in some situations)... that's a sign that the person has plans to take herself/himself out. A lot of real life cases say so.
Cole’s mom said she wouldn’t get mad- _about his having taken the bumblebee pendant, if he confessed it._ He denied taking it, because he didn’t; but his mom had no way of knowing what actually happened, and while it would be nice if she could have trusted him enough to have believed him, honestly it’s understandable, given the circumstantial evidence, that she concluded he was lying to her- and THAT was why she got mad.
If you love a good plot twist, you should check out these movies: The Others(2001) Sleepaway Camp(1983) Frailty(2001) The last one, I think you’ll really love.
Former U.S. Marine, shot Expert with both rifle and pistol every single time and took the range record (temporarily) with the then new 9mm Beretta pistol. I’ve never owned a personal firearm except for my father’s competition .45 pistol which he used to win shooting tournaments in the U.S. Army back in the early 1960s. I think they’re dangerous and should only be in the custody of well trained people for the purpose in which they’ve been designed.. in my case, killing the enemy. Not for home defense.
1. Haley Joel Osment played Forrestt Gump Jr, in "AI" and absolutely kills in this.🤩 2. I first knew when he met his wife when she was morning him alone at the anniversary meal. Only one place setting. 3. I watched my now ex to see when she got it but she never picked it up until the reveal. 4. They help each other. 5. Cole knew he wouldn't see Malcolm again. 6. Cole to Malcolm, "How can you help me, if you don't believe me?" "Some magic's real". 7. A fun movie for review of a Bruce Willis is, "The Last Boy Scout". HINT HINT 8. Missing you Bruce.☹
I don't know if it's different in the UK, but in the US, it wouldn't be weird for a psychiatrist or social worker or someone like that to get into a school to see a kid. Obviously, that's not what was going on here, but...🤷🏾♀️ If you're looking for suggestions for reaction movies, i recommend Sugar and Spice. Please do Sugar and Spice!
