Agriculture needs a revamp in some ways here in the US as well, subsidization making certain crops types safer and more profitable, in turn huge amounts of debt to meet the competitive prices of produce along with new tarrifs driving prices lower, ongoing demands of change of methods with new regulations with machinery that lags behind leading to debt from upgraded versions, aging farmers and unrealistic demands to lower pest and herbicide controls despite there being few alternative methods that yield similar amounts of goods. People need to eat so finding alternatives that still work is an ongoing debate here but large scale agriculture doesn't deviate much from its principle practices, it's hard to justify factory farming of animals but people still want cheap meat. It's a confusing time.
State subsidy should only go to farmers that increase their output by preserving nature next to their fields (so they don't use all of their land for agriculture and hence help keep pollinators and other species alive)
@@cardett75 but don't say Hong-Kong police is abusive' the rioters is abusing their rights they smash and burn all public property and private. That's democracy, what a shame
@@nicksonsicnawab7719 well they report what they see, if they see police brutality, or riots they will report as it is, and from what we understand, it seems like is the kon-kong people that wants to be away from chinese authority, not europeans nations pushing them to do so
