Great video Michael, I like the effects you achieved with the dragon stamp. I must invest in one :) The landscapes come out nicely too which surprised me, I didn't think it would be possible to get something like that with a hotplate and dabbing.

anita strebel ... could try that. Any heated surface that does not get too hot could be employed and the approaches adapted to suit that device and size. Experimenting is the way forward.
Fregalite.. yes, just a few colours are all you need to begin successfully. Colours mix as expected - so red and yellow will make some type of orange, red and blue make some type of purple, etc.
Senka, it would appear to be the run of the mill wax that Michael sels in his online store. Usual ingredients can be beeswax, damar gum and pigment to colour it.

Amazing what you can do with a tissue or a torn bit of card. I could watch this for hours.

How many different colours do you have on those waxes?
There are 48 encaustic art wax block colours. Look in shop at encausticshop.com for the full range of hues.
