    Obviously, you want to get the 10 hr flight out of the way first.
    In Singapore and Malaysia, it’s illegal to bring durian on any public transportations. If you are caught with durian, you’ll be forced to pay a large and expensive fine.

    I've only been in a lounge once. I was flying domestically to see some friends for my birthday. I found a reasonably good deal on first class tickets so I got comfy seats up front and free food and drinks at my connection. As to what flight I'd take first, usually it would be the short flight. I can think of a few times I'd rather have the long flight first but mostly just due to inconvenient flight times.

    8:44 yes!!! I do the same thing when people acting dumb and being loud in public. I just stare at them. Like WTF nobody wants to hear your phone conversation and nobody wants to hear the videos or TikTok you’re watching. . Wait till you have some privacy for phone calls and put some AirPods in in the world would be a much better place..
    Also, I just realize that you probably can’t take the train between the two locations because it’s the island but is there a ferry between there and Bangkok? Cause I don’t fly I’m sure there’s a ferry I know there’s a bunch in Southeast Asia. I feel like that might’ve been a faster solution, though since you had to wait that long in the airport plus the ride getting there . But what do I know 😂

    • @TravelWithBen121
      @TravelWithBen121  11 днів тому

      @@JustShelby888 that drive was so rude 😂 drives me crazy how disrespectful some people are in public. Especially on an airplane! You’re right about ferries, there are many around Asia but flying was so cheap, it was just the best option! Not the waiting around 😂

      @ I just had to give some people to stare down here in Florida trying to enjoy the sunset. They just pulled up in their car Blairng in their music. I just don’t understand why people can’t read the room in all situations in life. You’re not at a party. Nobody wants to hear your crappy music . Also I noticed that at dollar store there’s a lot of cheap wireless earbuds I seriously thought about buying a bunch of them and keeping them on me. And just handing them out when people are listening to their phone. On full volume with no headphones in. 😝 maybe they’ll get the hit. 😝

      @ HAHA I don’t know if it’s selfishness or lack of self awareness, Shelby!

    • @JustShelby888
      @JustShelby888 11 днів тому

      @ I think it’s self-awareness to be honest with you. I’m sure some of it is selfishness, but most people nowadays are just not self-aware. But then again I grew up in Japan, and I was taught nothing but self-awareness. And how my actions affect the people around me, and it also was a very quiet environment, there’s a reason that people enjoy Japan so much, besides the culture and the food. People don’t realize how much noise pollution affect your psyche. Especially here in Florida when I go out into areas that are supposed to be serene like nature walks or the beach I expect to hear the birds and the waves. Not your music or TikTok’s, which is the most annoying. I’ve noticed a lot of these people watch TikTok just saying … 😝 I think people also just need to be overstimulated 24 seven now days like why are you even on your phone we’re at the beach ! 🏝️ 😝
