Great job
Remove the dealer plate as well as the drive emblems, and either paint them and re apply or keep them off all together. Lower spoiler for front, rear diffuser and side skirts would make it look more slammed, without having to modify suspension.
A+++ on the PlastiDip job, how is it holding up? LOVE the the logo cutout on the gills, those little details take projects from cool to badass ;-) Thumbs up on the START button... Grill is super cool! Flat, matte, or satin clearcoat sprayed over the black sections is probably the only way it could be any cooler... With a Space Gray exterior I may have gone one black one gray on the carbon fiber logo covers? but that may have looked too busy? and the all black definitely passes the eye test! What next: #1. Drive it real fast! It looks fast sitting still so you have to drive it real fast. #2. Window tint would be an excellent compliment to your blacked out look. #3. Mild wheel spacers would give it more of that M5 muscular stance? maybe even mildly staggered? However both of those may be a warranty issue also?
Thanks for the feedback! It's been on a year almost and is holding up great!!
@@BMPowered I've done my top (chrome)half of my mirrors in flat white 3 times now and it keeps chipping and peeling off.. Do you think it's more likely from rocks and bugs or improper technique when applying?? Because of this I chose to rattle can actual paint on my grill and front Bowtie, flat black on grill satin on surround with coordinating clears overtop...it's held up much better??
Thought of another non warranty voiding high reward mod for your Bimmer... Painting the calipers... I did mine in WVU's Old Gold and my ladies Benz calipers in white and put heat resistant vinyl AMG stickers on them, looks awesome...
@@5StarCustomSolutions Sounds like rocks to me. On the plus side, at least yours is protected.
@@BMPowered I have the same exact car and color but I’m wondering should I add an M gloss black grill and the m vent or should I just get gloss black without the m?
