Everyone is saying that Caleb is bust. He has had the best TD-INT ratio for any #1 pick in NFL history. I am glad as a Bears fan we got him.
Not to downgrade the stuff he has done in his rookie year but his supporting cast on offensive is definitely the best out of any #1 pick in history even if the players didn’t play to their best ability
If he had an even average oline, this team is in the playoffs
@@JumpedSeal3178 Dont let the name value of the recievers fool you LOL
@@JumpedSeal3178 more like coaching he could deal with the o line this team collapsed after the hail mary if that didn't happen they would be a playuoff team
@@JumpedSeal3178 bro had 2 different HC's and OC's in his rookie year. The dumpster fire org held him back and he still rose above it.
He was a blocked field goal away from sweeping the Packers as a Rookie…He’s gonna go down as the Best Bears QB OAT 💯
Exactly! And thats not on him. He owns the packers
I mean technically he was 2 blocked field goals away from splitting the division... Iirc the Vikings also got a block in the next game. Assuming the rest of the game played out the same it doesn't go into OT
@@lonewolfe5960Plus they went for a 2 point rather than an xp earlier that game.
yall bears fans are sad man🤣 is there any other fan based who cheers for a successful season bc they beat 1 team
@@JoePackJoeNCNah, just excited for the future. As a Bears fan for 40 years, I’ve never really seen them field a qb that can take over a game.
While I can’t say Caleb is the end-all-be-all qb, I can say that he’s had the hottest start of any of them and it isn’t close.
Cutler had games and stretches where he looked the part but ultimately disappointed.
Caleb has started way better than Jay, who was already in the league 3 years when he came.
What I’m saying is that Caleb looks like the goods and will probably be the best qb in the North for the foreseeable.
35 mins of highlights and people say he’s a bust
To be fair they gave Will Levis a 20 minute highlight video... But yeah he's not a bust, we need to see more before we determine anything
@Lightfuldaywhat about will Levi's?
🚨STOP CALLING HIM A BUST PEOPLE 🚨
Think what happened to Bryce Young, took him one season and he’s BALLING OUT. Just dropped 44 on the Falcons. And Williams just beat Jordan Love/Malik Willis in a really good game. Give him time and a competent coach and I believe, he has the potential to be top 10 qb next year. Is that crazy talk?
These are called “HIGHLIGHTS” don’t get caught up in
🎯🎯🎯
Welp I’m about to watch this everyday until the next season starts lol. Caleb’s the future man glad us bears fans got him.
the bears O line is REALLY bad though. Caleb sometimes takes unnecessary sacks, but the line needs to be better since it tends to allow unblocked rushers
@@NK-qn6pq Watching the Lions-Vikings game tonight, I’m a bit jealous of how much time Goff and Darnold have to throw. Imagine if the Bears had Lions o-line 😳
@@NK-qn6pqOh yeah for sure, Poles needs to definitely fix the trenches this offseason. I can Agree with him sometimes taking unnecessary sacks but he’s a rookie and he’ll def improve this offseason with that and will take less sacks.
we definitely deserve it!
@@GooDBoYYKreW Darnold didn't have much time though....lions were blitzing the hell out of him! And it worked.
odunze is such a play maker how many times he kept us in it on 4th down at the end of the game. plays like a top 5 WR in the 4th quarter
Caleb - Odunze is going to feed families
Just needs to learn how to sit in a zone and he will be very good
His blocking is incredible too besides some misses he’s one of the better blocking receivers already
Caleb has all the physical tools to be elite, and he's got the clutch gene. He will be the greatest QB we've ever had.
I mean an average nfl QB would be the best bears QB of all time…that’s not even an exaggeration
@@themilwaukeebrewerswillnev7545 As a Bears fan of 40 years, there can't be anymore truth to your statement. But, at the same time, we'll take it. There's no team as starved for a bonified modern passer as the Bears.
PLEASE, GIVE THIS MAN AN OFFENSIVE LINE!
And a competent coach!
@@clarklarewjones and competent gm. and competent ownership. ugh, bears under the mccaskeys...
Please give him a good coaching staff first. Even with this line I think the Bears could have had 4-5 more wins with better coaching.
@entertained... The GM is competent. The fan base is not.
@@terrancehampton7300 haha, ah thanks for the laugh. i'm guessing you missed his amazing presser recently? you would've loved the delicious word salad...
In what world is this statline for a rookie qb a "bust"
3600 pass yards , 20 pass tds, 6 interceptions, 489 rushing yards. In this clown world
People will say anything man, I’ve learned you can’t reach every stubborn person on the internet, let them believe whatever 🤷🏽♂️ also 🐻⬇️
In the world where the guy taken #2 was significantly better while also taking a 4-13 team to 12-5 as a rookie. Didn't the bears punter end up with more yards than Caleb?
@@tommylomein jayden Daniels played better than over half the league my brother. Like I said, clown world. Why do we gotta compare picks? This whole draft class is looking amazing
@@tommylomein Sure, but Jayden played better than most veterans this year lol. As far as stats go, all 3 top rookies in Jayden, Bo, and Caleb have extremely similar stat lines, too. The main difference is the situation that they're in. Bears have the 30th ranked passing O Line in the league as of week 18, and all you have to do is watch the games to see that. It's been an issue for years with the Bears, too. Cutler was running for his life a lot of times, or getting obliterated. Mitch also had to run for his life. Justin had to run for his life, but dude was an athletic freak and had some of the best QB runs we've ever seen BECAUSE of the weak protection. And now there's Caleb who also has ran for his life and been obliterated all season. But as the OP said, 3600 yards and 20 TDs to just 6 INTs, breaking the rookie record set by CJ Stroud (almost doubling it) for most passes thrown without an INT, and over 400 rush yards on top of that. He's the first Bears QB since 2014 Jay Cutler to have 4,000 total yards, and he did it behind one of the worst O Lines in the league with one of the worst coaching staffs in the league. Give the kid a break and let's see how he does if and when the Bears, as an organization, get their stuff together.
Calling any QB in this class is a bust or a star is too early. You simply can't judge a QB that quickly. History tells us this. Stroud was great last year and ok this year. Josh Allen was terrible his rookie year and is now an All-Pro.
Hate on him all you want. Kid can play.

Criminal negligence.
Had to use him as a blocker bc the o line was so bad 😂🤦♂️
@@RealisticFPS_we did but even he blocking is suspect. Definitely a better pass catcher imo
Give him a coach and an OL and he will become a superstar
I don't think he'll ever be a superstar, but I do think he has it in him to be a good strong competent quarterback with a lot of potential.

Caleb Williams Is A Superstar
The crowd at 6:59 sounds awesome. The catch, the broken tackle, and the dive for the TD have 3 separate roars
I was at that game, and have been to many in London over the years (UK Bears fan here) and that atmosphere was one of the best I've ever experienced.
@avaris15 yeah you could hear the crowd thru the t.v, it was a constant loud cheer for the bears, U.K Bears fans seem just as wild as us Bears fans in the states. It's awesome to think that the U.K has bears fans, we haven't had much to cheer for this past decade but I really hope that changes next season, bear down my U.K Brother!
@@Nick-Strom87There's usually a good few of us for London games in general, but I like to think we really made that a home from home this year. It's not easy staying up until 4am watching the games, but we do it anyway. Hoping for a better season in 2025 🐻⬇️

That kid Caleb Williams is tremendously talented. He’ll become champion one day ‼️🐻⬇️
He will be MVP one day
He doesn't throw picks, pops. You see that? He really doesn't throw picks. All season long. He only threw 6... I might do it, pops. I might finally buy that Bears QB jersey. So many defensive and RB jerseys telling you growing up one day I'd get to buy that QB jersey. I wish you were here to see him.
Broke my heart on a level. Pops is watching the Bears from Heaven tellin ya to go get that jersey, I’m sure of it. We finally got our guy.
I'm so proud of you Caleb Williams you just beat the Packers let's go bears 🧡💙😊🐻✌️💯💙🧡💙🧡💙🧡 BEST QB IN THE NFL
He'll become a superstar once he gets a real head coach.
Caleb Williams is undefeated at Lambeau.
Caleb Williams is AWESOME!!! All different kinds of plays all over the field, just keeps going. Sky is the limit!!!
He’s gonna be really good especially if he gets a offensive minded coach like Ben Johnson
The bears are winning the division if they get Ben Johnson
He would do better with an offensive minded coach agreed but I heard Ben Johnson will be HC in Jacksonville rumors !
why does every team talk abt getting Ben Johnson most of them including chicago arent even rumored or in consideration whatsoever

Chicago Loves You Caleb Williams
❤❤❤❤❤ WE LOVE YOU CALEB
Already a promising talent. Hopefully a beast will be unlocked with a competent coach + O line
WE LOVE YOU CALEB!!!!!!!
That play at 6:58 is simply amazing. You cannot teach that pocket ability. Generational if the Bears hold up their end and get him the coach he deserves.
Only TWO QBs threw for more yards in a single season as a Bear than Caleb did in his ROOKIE year. Eric Kramer and Jay Cutler. Had 3rd string o-line, OC got fired, HC got fired. The kid did it himself at age 23.
3500 yards
20-6
Despite being sacked hella lot
He did his thang
Caleb’s legit. Once he gets a solid coaching staff and the bears invest in the O line, he will be a pro bowler. This off season is crucial to the development of Caleb.
thank you caleb williams for bringing hope back into my life
When Brown was his dedicated OC he had 946 total yards-7TDs-1int vs the 9th-4th-5th ranked defense in 3 consecutive weeks. Thats with one of the worst lines in the NFL. Eberflus got fired and he regressed again. It's there, he needs a Line/coaching.
TB as OC made me believe in him big time. In retrospect, we probably should have kept him there for development purposes
Dumb decision making him HC but whatever
Caleb had a lot more memorable, flashy plays this year, but his throw at 32:55 to DJ Moore is one of the craziest plays I've ever seen. This wasn't a chuck and a prayer, you can see in the slo-mo that he sees DJ come open and hits him where only DJ could get it on 4th down, with the game on the line and 3 free rushers in his face WHILE SPRINTING BACKWARDS.
These plays make it easy to see why he went number one - incredible unteachable talent. Here's hoping the Bears next coaching staff can harness a bit more of that magic, improve the deep passing game, and make the O-Line not act like a wet paper towel 50% of the time. A run game wouldn't hurt either...
fr
Never seen a 1st overall bust throw for almost 4K yards over 20 TDs and under double digits in interceptions yet
It wouldve been an Hour long highlight reel if he had a competent oline
Yeah the line is bad but he should learn to not hold the ball or 30 minutes.
@@jaxon1913.exactly 2 things can be true. I would say 2 thirds of the sacks were on the OLine and the other 3rd on Caleb tbh. Has to be better.
@@colinmueller2781Caleb has even admitted that though, I truly believe he’ll reflect and come out better than before. He has that drive for greatness that I love to see as a bears fan
@@jaxon1913. long-developing plays and poor scheming contributes to that - if you watch a lot of sack replays, the wrs are all far downfield and covered man to man - no one is being schemed to get open and no te/rb dump-offs are available.
Kinda fascinating you can chart the success of our offense with how much we got Kmet involved
ikr the stereotypical safety net being used, who would have thought
As a Bears fan who misses Justin Fields, I can assure you that Williams is not only far from a bust…but he’s going to evolve into a great pocket passer and game manager. He will be fine 🐻💯
would’ve liked him to get the ball out a lot quicker to avoid sacks and manage the clock a bit better next year. we’ve seen he can come through in the clutch several times and set the team up for a chance to win the game. we’ve seen the arm talent and athleticism. most importantly, we’ve seen the leadership even from a young guy with a terrible record. great year for caleb and we have a lot of things to be optimistic about as bears fans! go bears!🐻⬇️
I gotta say, it was so refreshing to see the hustle at the end of the game today. They actually moved with purpose and clocked it to set up Cairo.
@@SVdreamin He's done it before too like against Detroit and Green Bay the first time. But you know how those ended....
Well you need to have an OL to give you time
That pass to swift vs the vikings 🥵
Williams was playing at an elite level for that 3 game stretch from 14:21 to 25:20, against 3 top ten teams in his own division no less. He had the bears a fingertip and a timeout away from a positive divisional record.
Thomas Brown in the booth as OC was really good. Once he became HC it was a disaster, on top of the fact we were on a 6 game skid. It got ugly at that point. Everyone was deflated and they were getting whipped on both sides of the ball. Defense gave up 34ppg over the next 3 games. 2 of them we were out of by halftime. Anybody we get at HC will be better than Flus and it would be dope if somehow we could Keep brown as OC, unless we get Ben Johnson or a great offensive mind.
20 TDs 6 INTs this kid will be good lmaooo. Why were people saying he’s a bust
Cause bad season=bust for these idiots
Because he didnt win the SB
@@Viking_367 no rookie qb has won the SB. lol
@@Barktombo its a joke
That tuck and run-pump fake run is so dangerous. The kid can ball we got 1.. tie up a few loose ends we’ll be in the post season next year
So far Caleb Williams plays with confidence I like that he gonna be really good for the bears I’m glad they drafted him
Caleb was one field goal, one time out being called, one less strip sack (Indianapolis strip sacked him when he was down a score in the 4th),a Hail Mary not caught, and choosing to run the ball a bit from the 40 to try and get on field goal range instead of throwing a bunch of incompletions in TNF from having a 10 win season and potentially being in the playoffs
For all the Bears fans that miss Fields. Caleb does the same thing Justin did. He keeps us in games. BUT, he can also make the throws that Justin never could. 17:46 🤯
Edit: Odunze is a dawg.
Justin went to war with Equnamious St Brown, Velus jones, and Darnell Mooney. His only competent WR was DJ Moore along with the same Swiss cheese OLINE and HC that Caleb had that y’all are now constantly blaming
@@DripleDouble3the highlight of my comment was Caleb’s mobility + his arm talent. Fields’s just doesn’t have it.
@ Thats a lie, and that narrative is played out honestly.
@@DripleDouble3 okay then why isn’t he starting somewhere?
@ He was never the starter with the Steelers, Justin went there with the knowledge of Russell being signed first & he is a SB winning vet and anywhere he goes he’ll start strictly because of his resume as a vet. He needs to retire after this season anyway, cause he’s not gonna win any team anything as a declining 36 year old injury prone QB just like Arod and Kirk cousins if they’re not teaching the younger QBs they’re just taking a roster spot. JF is just shadowing Russ for the future under a slightly structured franchise for growth he didn’t get in Chicago. Literally just Football politics.
Can’t tell you the amount of pain I’d experience in a long 3rd or 4th down with fields. Or in a 4th Q situation, always seemed like fields would fumble or throw an egregious interception. It’s weird how many times Caleb came through when the odds were stacked against him, especially considering all of the coaching disaster around him
CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT THIS MAN CAN DO !!!!
All of my neighbors say Caleb is a bust, like dude he has 3600 yards, 20 tds to 2-3 ints, and 450 rush yards.
@@Oddball_Vr He is a bust
sorry your neighbors are idiots, much like theghost here.

Caleb was rarely the problem on this team. 20 TDs with only 6 INTs is an insanely good Rookie turnover ratio. Give him an Oline and a solid coach!
Caleb's Rookie Performance is solid just Bad Coaches and Bad O-Linemen
as a bears fan I am admittedly super hyped for not only the off-season, but the draft. with a competent O-line and obviously a coach, we might be a decent team. 2025 prediction is: 10-7. Come back and see how this aged.
10-7 is diabolical 😂
@ that’s what you say now 🤷🏿♂️
bro we say this every year but always end up sucking
A lot of fans like yall we don’t need 🤦🏿♂️ get tf on go root for the colts
My prediction is 8-9
watching some of these highlights, its criminal how underutilized Brown made Cole Kmet during the second half of the season. Even poopy Waldron gave him more targets
Caleb Williams is a great qb is a bad situation. 35 minutes is what he's capable of while running the offense AND running for his life. Give him a Washington O-line and he's got way more
His team loaded up on offense in the offseason.. he literally walked into a better situation than any bears qb in the last decade and still did mediocre
@derekconstantino7759 And how is he going to get this loaded offense the ball with .5 seconds in the pocket? We had zero run game as well, swift has been worse than mediocre all season, almost every run was 1-4 yards.
braindead comment. dude has amazing talent around him.
@@hendrix-n6y its how they cope with jayden being better than their rookie qb. Jayden had a far worse situation coming into washington. I remember before the year, ppl had the bears going to the superbowl
@@AlphamaleAOlol Jayden walked into a nice and easy situation where nothing was asked of him and had 2 more years of college. If he didn’t do alright I would have been surprised. He still doesn’t have Caleb talent but it was a really good year for Jayden. He actually stayed healthy for more than 50% of the time. So props to their med staff for keeping him alive beyond some rib issues.
Bear down this man is a bright future in front of him 🐻⬇️
For anyone hating he did something no other rookie QB in NFL has done in multiple categories. So hate all you want, this kids about to be insane, especially when we fix the braindead Oline, and have a coach who doesn't limit him to 5-10 yard passes and actually creates a good offensive playbook.
22:19 STILL an unbelievable throw
17:46 that throw is absurd
legit
Caleb Williams go crazy folks!
He still managed 3600 passing yards with the worst coaching staff I've seen in decades.
And now Ben Johnson's going to install him into HIS offense? Look out, NFL.
Ben Johnson just entered the chat!!! #GoBears
Caleb is going to be a great quarterback in this league. It wasn’t the season most ppl most of us were expecting but despite that he still had a pretty good year. There’s a few things he has to clean especially the deep ball and making the simple check down passes when there’s nothing downfield open or just getting rid of the ball. Once he does that and the Bears get him a better O-Line I promise it’s over for him.
Caleb had a decent rookie season with the Bears! He is gonna be the beast for many years to come!
Caleb was NEVER in a pro style offense in college. He's by far the most talented QB in the draft, he needs time and a better o-line.
Caleb and Rome started the season hot. I think at some point DJ or Keenan started complaining and Caleb stopped looking at Rome and Kmet
I don't ever remember 35 minutes of highlights for a Bears player! Shows you how good he is!!
People who say Caleb is a bust would also say Dan Marino is a bust.
My glorious king
Caleb Williams is going to be harassing the packers for the next decade! It’s the Bears turn now 😭🤣
Bears finally got their own Aaron Rodgers
he’s literally the best QB the bears have ever had! I absolutely love cutler! Caleb is something special! 🐻⬇️ Cheesecakes got worked!
His connection with Odunze will be nuts when its all said and done dude. Its like, half the highlights are to Rome hahaha
34:04 Ok, what? That is hilarious!
Love Caleb, can't wait for next season under Johnson! Bear Down!!!!
Makes me happy his highlights are the most viewed highlights this year by a huge margin
Caleb Williams 2024 stats:
3541 passing yards
20 passing touchdowns
489 rushing yards
6 interceptions
87.8 qb passer rating
62.5% completion percentage
Gonna be a Superstar
Almost beat the Packers the first time, then beat them in Lambeau. This man can throw lasers from crazy platforms and bend a football like few can in the NFL and he can run. The Bears may have gotten their very own Aaron Rodgers
He has a little drew brees I'd say more than 12
@BrandonBias-xj7ir drew brees never had a strong arm and couldnt throw off platform and couldnt run. Brees also had one arm angle. I dont see any resemblance whatsoever between Kaleb Williams and Drew Brees.
@@Viking_367 you should watch highlights of his fourth quarter comebacks
The Future Is Here For Caleb Williams
Who is here after the Ben Johnson hire???
The throw to swift was the throw of the year in the entire nfl
Sign of a good QB is the ability to work the middle of the field. Fields, Trubisky, and even Cutler relied much more on the sidelines.
17:52 best throw of the season
Chicago native and bears fan here. Im super excited to see how he does when he has a good coach and O line. If we can get those two things then we have a bright future.
Anyone calling him a bust genuinely might have brain damage
This man has talent and an awesome supporting cast, but the coaching is holding him back. Looking forward to next year. BEARDOWN!
If this is calebs floor i will take it....this is the worst hes going to be in his entire career and hes setting records. Cant wait to see how high his ceiling is.
Bro got the most hits and pressured pockets in the nfl as a rookie, putting up these kinds of plays and throws.. with Sam Darnold doing amazing this year… glad to see USC qbs thriving
He’s so clutch. Literally a blocked field goal away from sweeping the packers with two game winning drives. He will easily be the greatest bears QB ever
Caleb has a real good year. Kmet was a weapon until he had to keep blocking. Team was balling differently until that hail Mary play. Our future when he gets protection is gonna be good to great. I wanted Justin still but I can honestly see why they made the move. Bear down
Take him #1 a thousand times over! Can't f-ing wait for him to have a play caller and upgraded o-line! He learned a ton last year and it will end up being priceless experience!
Caleb is the franchise quarterback believe that 💯
17:48 “somehow swift finds it?” Naaaaa we all know that’s the craziest throw we’ve ever seen a bears QB make.
The first of many more wins against GB!
Caleb future MVP
There are some throws in here that are ABSOLUTELY INSANE. It's crazy to think, he put us in position to win at the end of games 5 times..... and was coached out of 4 of those opportunities by poor coaching. Oh the national narrative would have been so different if we had better coaching lol.
Dear bears.... please get Ben Johnson or Vrabel‼️
