Absolutely phenomenal. For their first ten years, pretty much every freaking song the Ramones recorded was a damn catchy hit. So far ahead of their time, it's great and a shame at the same time. Been disbanded almost 20 years and they're bigger now by far than ever.
@@hedfonesprettythug827 yes, do you understand how influential this band is? They single-handedly cemented a whole genre of music and inspired countless bands and musicians to pick up instruments. They will be talked about until the end of time.

I have always loved this show. Great set and they sounded incredible. Great sound too from the sound guy. Great recording. But the thing tjat stands out the most from this show for me wad Dee Dee'a playing. He was super 'on' at this show. He was playing perfectly in time and super tight with Mark and Johnny. I don't think I can recall him ever being this consistent. It also helps that whoever did sound for this show and whoever recorded and mixed it did an absolutely amazing job. Nearly perfect.
San Bernardio 1982 was one of the most well recored/filmed Ramones shows, hands down. The sound quality is amazing, picture quality is great, and the camera angles are all very nice. I wish concerts like The Rainbow in 1977 were this well documented.
This must be one of the best live versions of any of their songs and to quote Joni Mitchell "You don't know what you've got till it's gone!", which certainly holds true for the Ramones. It was only after their split up, and the untimely deaths of Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee that I started listening to them. When they were at their 'freshest' circa 1977 / 78 I was a 14 year old who thought he was mature because he listened to the likes of prog bands like Genesis. Dear Dear, what a waste.
Los Ramones una de las mejores bandas de todos los tiempos y del universo entero. Una de mis bandas favoritas. Joey y Dede no han muerto simplemente regresaron a su planeta.
Let's clarify....this is not just Ramones playing San Berdoo that one day in 1982, this was Day 3 of the famous "Us Festival"...the "New Wave / Punk" day. Never will forget it, everyone was great, Ramones were the best!
this song rocks! So sorry I missed them when they came to TX. I'm glad the Ramones are remembered and valued. They never sold out or gave up. Too bad the originals are all gone. We could use them today! They began the year I finished high school 1974--I will always consider them to be part of my generation. Viva Ramones!
I wish I was there! I remember my dad was a punk rocker and still is and told me stories of the R.A.M.O.N.E.S and albums and that is how I got into them. Forever a fan! GABBA GABBA HEY!
I was 14 years old in 1977 and "Rock" was so boring that he had lost his "Roll". So, when I first heard punk sound on a trip to London, this primary and rebel sound brought us back to the quintessence of rock and roll. I was completely shaken and moved. Then I discovered the New York scene and the Ramones were one of my favorite bands. Today, they are at the R & R Hall of Fame. They deserve it.

THIS LIVE VERSION IS THE BEST ONE, EVEN BETTER THAN STUDIO
I agree, this sounds amazing, specially the chorus
It's true
Totally agree
I absolutely agree
No. Tempo too fast, takes away from the child-like simplicity inherent in the original studio recording.
My teacher niece has her first parent-teacher conference today. I posted this to Facebook so she can listen to it after.
sure miss Ramones, so wild and original
this version is so good, I converted it to mp3 and put it on my ipod.

@MrNikcccc i just made a stupid rhyme thing. i love the ramones.
Joey gotta be one of the most in-tune singers in rock history. And the melodies with Dee Dee, beautiful.
He started using a flanger and chorus on his voice live and it hides mistakes. He's good though 🙂
🤦♀️
