I love the start of phase three, it's just, if you're not expecting it, it can be like a cat with a bag stuck to it, it goes fast and far, and is quite funny
It’s odd how these final bosses are easier than some of the regular totem battles on the way. But this is a brilliant ending to the mod, just really fun and vibrant. Heave. Ho.
I think Leshy's final boss was more for 'visual and story' impressment, like you've faced creatures from the sea, the air, the land, you've taken on some of the rarest critters in the game, amalgams of horror and even those who came before you in card form. Now you face a heavenly body, something of cosmic scale, specifically the moon. Royal Domniguez as a boss, considering its Grimmora's boss, feels like its meant more for 'fun', as i had a 'TON' of fun fighting him then the other bosses, and i loved them all. Phase 1 is just Royal doing normal things, throwing pirate themed cards at you, and since he's a skeleton he uses skeleton cards, but pirate themed. phase 2 he hands you several cards for free, in case you had worn out your starting resources too soon for a quick kill, so you can be more creative and do more in phase 2, which is just more of phase 1 but extra cannon shots going off and finally phase 3... well you face his ship, a heavy vessal with powerful cannons and a crew of skeletons who all jump ship and join your side, playing on Royal's line of "stalwart skeles who'd never betray me', if you deal enough damage in a turn. and yea its not exactly as dangerous as Kaycee Mod Moon, it's easy to mess around with it, especially since it does not protect itself against stinky sigil cards, so 2 of those will end the ship's assaults. Heck it helps you kill it faster because of the skeles that turn traitor. This gives a feeling of a 'fun boss' not a 'this is your final challenge, good luck you're going to need it' boss, its more of a "let's just have some fun with a pirate themed skeleton captain who has a ship of mutineering skeletons
@@FedoraReshiramGaming In fact, He just simply wanted to play games with player. So that's why act.1 was better than act. 2 and act.3. He prepared so well in act.1.
The only reason I put myself through heck via skull storm (knowing full well I don't need to) is to listen to the absolute banger soundtrack that is the limoncello theme.
I only faced him once, in like my 4th attempt with all the challenges active, so my deck was too much for him and I didn't get the chance to actually appreciate how cool he is.
i actually have a theory/headcanon as to why the limoncello is so much stronger than the moon. when leshy captures the limoncello with his beast camera, its right in front of him, so the resulting card is an accurate representation of what was captured. and yeah, a whole ship and crew would make for a powerful card. but the moon? that thing is REALLY far away. its possible that leshy's beast camera simply couldn't accurately gauge the power of something so far away, like how taking a regular picture of something in the distance usually looks grainy or blurry. i think, if leshy could somehow get the moon closer to him before taking a picture of it, we'd see a truly cosmic-level card.
I wish Inscryption would have just been the game instead of some 4th Wall breaking mystery stupid self aware crap. The devs are absolutely idiotic if they don't just give us the full game
in case you aren't aware, inscryption is one part of a bigger universe that daniel mullins has created. if it were "just the game" there'd have been near no point and the whole thing wouldve been a lot worse, and if that's what you actually want then i dont think you can be helped
