- First time at BikePark Wales since the rebuild of the A470 with more (and bigger) jumps. Starting off with Vicious Valley, peeling off to the A470 and then a blast down Willy Waver to finish.

I like the way they stand about in groups at the trail entrances
I don't...haha It's the same everywhere you go though, yesterday there was a group of riders lined up 5 abreast at the entrance to one of the trails going down one at a time! And last weekend at BMCC a group of 3 riders just all stopped dead at a trail intersection for a rest, nearly went into the back of them! lol
I just don't understand why people do it, we're all here for the same sport so we all know how the trails work. If you want to gather up before a run, don't do it in the entrance to the trail! lol
I know, do it on a wall ride lol
Haha yes I've seen that video too, those guys at the bottom were lucky it was a skilled rider coming up behind them!

Thanks Russ! Got lucky with the UA-cam algorithm on this one, it's still chugging along getting 300 views a month for no apparent reason! 🤣 I see they have rebuilt A470 again since I was last up there, would love to go back and have a crack at the current iteration!

Awesome! I've just been down there myself and did the a470 for the first time. I crashed near the end but cleared most of the jumps. Its hard to keep pace all the way down, good job.
This is one of the main things I like about the rebuild, they made it flow a lot better so you're not having to pedal flat out from top to bottom just to clear the jumps!

I went back yesterday, complete washout and uplift cancelled at 2pm due to lightning! ⚡
Are any of these jumps 'uncasable' because I would like to have a go at a470 but am not the best at jumping.
12 pretty much all of them are flat tabletops so you should be fine at any speed, but you'll need to watch out for that left hand hip/gap jump before the two biggest tables as you could definitely hook a wheel on that one!

I basically use the exact same settings as Jordan Boostmaster on his Hero 4. If you take a look at his website (link on his channel) it has the settings he uses on all his cameras!
Did the new a470 today, loved it! Popty ping has also had a makeover and is so much better
Awesome, can't wait to ride Popty Ping again now it's open! When I last went (during this video) it was right at the beginning of the closures but before most of the new stuff was open. ☹️
