Hitchensimmortal I didn't hate it, I just found it to be very mediocre. The movie really bored be (probably because I'm not a big fan of history), but that's balanced out by a great performance by Gary Oldman, a good score, and some decent cinematography. In other words, all the technical aspects were there, it just didn't have enough substance for me.
I wish Luca Guadagnino got a director nod. He directed CMBYN with a lot of flair and confidence. What was so special about the way Lady Bird was directed?
Paperbagman555 That it was directed by a woman and if they hadn't nominated it women in Hollywood and in general would have been furious. However it's a good film and I hope , thanks to everything that's going on in Hollywood ATM women will get more chances to direct and that way when they get nominated it will be earned.
Agreed. When everything comes together so perfectly, that speaks to good leadership. Plus, phenomenal performances by young actors are often down to the director.
The uniformly great performances she got out of everyone. Directing isn’t just about visuals. It’s about working with actors and creating a cohesive whole.
If you don't think highly enough of a movie to call it by its full name, I'm sorry, but I don't really want to hear what you think. Have some respect for beloved items, you know!
Everyone abbreviates online, chill out. I have lots of respect for Gerwig, I just felt that the Guadagnino was able to explore his characters on a deeper level than in Lady Bird. Also, I found the characters in Lady Bird to be a bit more generic than the ones in Call Me By Your Name. Just my opinion and they're totally different movies too. I guess I would call out The Post except I haven't bothered to see it - looked like nothing special
What's the point without Ben, I love how he breaks out the Las Vegas odds for every category! Fun to hear you guys discuss your analysis as critics versus the oddsmakers. Please get another video in before the ceremony!
Top 10 1. Call Me By Your Name 2. Get Out 3. Phantom Thread 4. Lady Bird 5. The Florida Project 6. The Shape of Water 7. Faces Places 8. A Ghost Story 9. Dunkirk 10. A Fantastic Woman Honourable Mentions: The Beguiled The Big Sick Mudbound The Post Personal Shopper I, Tonya Baby Driver
It won't happen but please give Blade Runner 2049 and Dunkirk as many Oscars as possible. Blade Runner 2049 is my favorite movie of this decade and it hurts a bit that it has only 5 nominations.
That's frankly an insult to Denis. Speilberg is a hack, and hopelessly kitchsy and sentimental. Anyone who praises his work and uses his name as a byword for excellence instantly loses all credibility in my eyes. Check out what Rob Ager had to say about Saving Private Ryan on his excellent Collative Learning channel. It's a walking ethical catastrophe, that movie.
I don’t know why Get Out is their second option after The Shape of Water. Three Billboards has HEAVILY beat out both of those movies throughout the entire season and considering the Shape of Water plagiarism accusation....I’d be shocked if Three Billboards doesn’t take it now
Weirdly, I thought Dunkirk was the best picture I saw this year. Intense throughout and a really new approach to a war film. But, the film I liked the most was Three Billboards. It really made me think afterwards. As far as actors, I mostly agree with WTF. Except I can see the vote splitting between Sam & Woody. Making it almost impossible for either to win. Also, I thought Holly Hunter should have at least gotten a nomination for supporting in The Big Sick. She really carried the 2nd half of the film. I have to admit I haven't seen Shape of Water or Ladybird. I will see both over the next 2 weeks.
It didn't get nominated for Screenplay and Film Editing, plus Vicky Krieps was sadly snubbed. I hope PTA wins someday, but I just don't think this is his year.
I'd be lieing if I said I wasn't waiting months for this video 😂 watched all your review video guys! Huge fan and hope to be in one of those seats someday!!
They're both great from the point of storytelling and directing, but phantom thread is of higher quality in all other aspects (actors, cinematography, score, film editing, design, etc.)
Oldman is OBVIOUSLY going to win that best male lead. Beating Daniel Day-Lewis for it will just be icing on the cake. Also, I gotta give it to Margo, she deserves it.
Casey Smith They only nominated 9 films and there are 10 slots. My theory is that the 10th one is a secret nomination that will be revealed as BR2049 and it will win. Definitely. I wish lol.
Get Out is soo overrated. I mean it was a fun horror movie with some cool concept but that's it. Best Picture of the year? No way. I don't get why these critics are so excited about this film.
My predictions: Best Picture: Three Billboards Best Director: Guillermo Del Toro Best Actor: Gary Oldman Best Actress: Frances McDormand Best Supporting Actor: Sam Rockwell Best Supporting Actress: Allison Janney Best Adapted Screenplay: Call Me By Your Name Best Original Screenplay: Get Out, but it could be Three Billboards too Best costume design: Phantom Thread Best Visual Effects: Blade Runner 2049 but could War for the Planet of the Apes too Best Art Direction: Blade Runner 2049 Best hair and makeup: Darkest Hour Best Film Editing: Dunkirk Sound mixing and editing: Dunkirk Best Cinematography: Blade Runner 2049 Best Animated Feature: Coco Best Original Score: Shape of Water Best Original Song: This is me Best Documentary feature: Faces Places Not going to bother with all the shorts. I hope I'm not forgetting any categories.
I get that it’s great from a technical standpoint, but I found the story to be a bit boring-If I feel like watching a DDL movie ten years from now, I’ll be watching TWBW 10 out of 10 times.
Maybe not Lady Bird, thought it was very odd and it just didnt do anything for me. It left me thinking, but not in a GOOD way like Three Billboards did
I think with Get Out, it's one of those "it was an honor to be nominated" type of movies. I think it's nominations were wins for it. For best picture, I think it's really down to The Shape of Water, Three Billboards, and, due to the preferential ballot, Dunkirk. I don't really think Get Out or Lady Bird have much of a shot, but I could be wrong.
Roger Deakin’s better win. I’m rooting for Icarus for documentary. A Fantastic Woman was excellent in the foreign language category. Best Picture is Three Billboards, but I sense that Call me By Your Name (which I haven’t seen) is a dark horse.
The weird thing about this year is that I think it's very predictable, but there's a shitload of talent with few "bad" choices. The only one I'm pushing is that Get Out wins Best Original Screenplay. The writing on that movie is tight, brilliant, and so piercing. And for the love of god, don't give that award to Three Billboards. Although Three Billboards has a great cast and some interesting themes, the screenplay was a mess. Best Picture is up in the air between Shape of Water, Three Billboards, and Get Out (Dark Horse). There's really no hard choice cause there's a lot of waving in between. Director, Best Animated, and all the Acting Awards feel locked. All the technical awards are hard to predict, a lot of leaning towards Dunkirk but hard case for what genre could come through or Phantom Thread could get. Foreign/Shorts are also nearly random because it's hard to find someone who's watched all five in the category.
MayorOfEarth79 The Screenplay is supposed to be a mess. Thats whats so good about it and thats why its nominated. Your looking at it as a flaw, when its actually one of the best things about it. The movie isnt one straight line like the other movies. What does that remind you of? LIFE!. Life isnt a straight line at all, and as for the things it doesnt solve? Well again, some things in life dont get solved. Mildred not finding the killer is very realistic, Dixon not getting arrested for abuse happens all the time. Look at all the cops who are abusive, do they get punished? No. You want another example? Okay, lets look at Dixon's character, you hate his guts throughout the movie, but theres that one bit of you that likes him, he's trying to do right to rewrite all of his wrongs. Does he not support some sympathy, i would say he's not perfect by the end of it but he's trying. ITS SUPPOSE TO BE A MESS
I, Tonya, aside from being a play on I, Claudius which I love... I saw the trailer and said "the FUCK do I care about this for?". Then I got bored, watched it, and completely got it. You're right, you cannot watch it and not re-evaluate your opinions of that particular chapter of 90s Tableau.
“You can’t watch that movie and not have to change your perception of Tonya Harding completely.” And for those of us who followed skating closely back then, you watch an interview with the real Tonya and it reaffirms so much of what you thought about her previously. She had an unbelievably hard life and did get treated unfairly, but she more culpable than fans of the film want to admit. There is also a bit of reimagining when it comes to her skating career as well.
McDormand, Oldman, Rockwell, and Janney will win big awards along with Del Toro. I think Original Screenplay will be a political upset and go to "Three Billboards" along with Adapted going to "Call me by your Name" making people happy. And, the producers of "Shape of Water" will be going up to collect Best Picture for a total of 5 Oscars.
How did Harrison Ford not get nominated for supporting actor for Blade Runner? That was a textbook, pitch-perfect example of exactly what a supporting actor/character should be in a film.
I agree with Alonso, the Oscars and other award shows are slowly becoming obsolete since most audiences stream what they want to watch and don’t listen to award shows when they pick their favorite movies of the year. Even indie movies are streamed now as well.
Adam Craig "bestiality film" ? :D what movie do you mean? :D and Get Out is not a baity movie at all just because the protagonist is a black man and the antagonists are racist white people.
Picking against Daniel Day Lewis for best actor is like picking against the UConn women's basketball team for the national title. There might be plenty of compelling choices to pick, but UConn is going to win.
The thing I hate most about the Oscars is that they force critics to adopt their bizarre, highly politicized way of evaluating films instead of simply having conversations about the actual best movies of last year were. The Florida Project isn’t even nominated for best picture, Phantom Thread is considered a long shot for best picture, and PTA is at 100/1 odds for best director. Wtf
Gary Oldman is a great actor, usually brilliant even in bad movies, and I would love to see him win an Oscar, but not for playing Churchill in a fat suit under loads of makeup, especially when he doesn't even get the voice right. Mel Brooks can do a better imitation of Churchill. He looks likely to win, and I'll be happy for him, but I don't think it represents his best work.
What a great jacket! Pink inlay and grey shell, white shirt underneath, killer combo. And hot tea, never seen that before. Must really be chilly in LA. (checks) 58 F, 14 C.
Maybe they will give Best Screenplay to Mcdonagh or Peele and Director to GDT, and then Best Picture will go to Three Billboards or Get Out. Who knows, i really hope Three Billboards wins for Writing and Best Picture
"The Shape of Water" is entertaining in every way a movie can be. It should win in every major category it is nominated. Hawkins, Jenkins and Spencer don't seem to have a chance, according to the buzz. Shame, Hawkins, in particular, was by far the best in the field. It does however have a good shot at best picture and director at least.
The only problem I had with Get Out is it's too short. The entire 3rd act is about 7 minutes long. The real triumph of it is that the world learned that Jordan Peele is a multi-threat to be reckoned with and I'm not sure ANYONE saw that coming.
You're right. It was as long as it needed to be, but it made the acts a tad unbalanced. Left me wanting more on the back end. Personally I'd rather have the premise rushed and spend a lot more time on resolution.
Well, I give them credit for trying something somewhat new, but honestly he overcame his captors with pretty much zero effort. Just a quick montage of a few murders and dude was out. There could have been a little more cat and mouse going on instead of just an easy escape from what were apparently completely inept psychos. Part of it is I kinda like movies where escape isn't that easy. Shit like The Cube and The Collector or Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Saw. Because I sort of enjoy the Rube Goldberg-esque ways writers navigate the audience through a minefield. But hey I'm not a chef, I'm just the guy who might eat the meal and say "that was great but the potatoes were slightly undercooked".
HitchensImmortal I actually agree with that. It would have been nice to see him struggle a bit more in escaping. Would have made the ending that much more triumphant. But I don't see it as a flaw. You don't always have to use every opportunity you have for suspense and tension. Honestly, it musta felt good for the director to write and direct those final murders.
The Florida project was so fucking snubbed. Honestly the best film I’ve ever seen, never ever been so transported and affected by a film. Also think three billboards was one of the best so at least there’s that
MeToo has nothing to do with representation among Oscar hosts, but it can obviously (and should NOT) obviously be co-opted to be that. That is, #MeToo is about standing up to sexual harassment. If you make #MeToo about "Hey give women more roles in acting or more important jobs like directing or hosting, etc" then you pervert the purpose of the movement by making it about blackmail. "Give women more jobs or else you'll have a MeToo-style controversy you don't want." Stop slipping down the slope. Representation is a different issue and the advocates need to operate independently or else it'll smack of extortion.
What I would like to see is a variation of the clip showing Hollywood people who died last year for Hollywood people who lost their career due to sex scandals, Jimmy Kimmel can do that segment after his Man's Show skit "girls jumping on trampoline"
Lady Bird or The Post is better than *Get Out?* Are you Smoking Crack Lol You're brain intelligence is overrated and obviously overheating Lol Get Out didn't win best picture but it definitely deserved to be nominated.
Blade Runner is just light years ahead of the sensibility of most Academy voters, and most people in the general population too. They don't really get it, it goes way over their obdurate heads.
Josue J Please, re-read my comment )) I'm saying that it deserves each nomination it got, especially in cinematography, design and visuals. If it was up to me, I'd definitely give more credit to Mr. Villeneuve and to producers for being bold enough to provide a sci-fi thriller with a budget of a marvel blockbuster.
Chris Wright Then it's only left to hope I'll live to see them admitting their ignorance and obduracy, while the movie itself becoming a sci-fi classic.
I really dont want 3 Bill boards to win: among the "favorites" it felt like the worst of the bunch, it was so underwritten, so indecisive and obtuse...I really didnt care for it. I also dont want Lady Bird to win: it was ok, props to Gerwig for the Directing and Writing, did a great job there, but if it were to win, it would be the confirmation that the Academy and critics just care about "message" and not the film itself. I was a bit 50/50 about Moonlight last year, I loved the movie but felt it a notch below La La Land, but thinking about Lady Bird winning makes me pretty bummed about critics: I just think, all these movies they praised and that I loved, did they actually love them or did they just like the message? It increasingly seems like the latter is the case. I wouldnt mind Shape of Water winning, I personally dont feel like it is quite Best Picture level, but it's safe. I would like Get Out to win, but the 2 movies I think truly are Best Picture contenders in my book are Phantom Thread and Dunkirk. they are just another level
I'm thoroughly disgusted with the decision to bump last year's Best Actor, Casey Affleck as presenter of the Best Actor in a Female Role (otherwise known as Best Actress) in favor of Jodie Foster and Jennifer Lawrence. Both Best Actress winners. The witches of Hollywood are taking this women's thing too far. As far as I'm concerned, they are alienating many fans. This bullsh-t is destroying Hollywood, though it didn't have far to go.
Monica Donnelly What, my comment or the replacing of Casey Affleck as presenter of the Best Actress award with Jodie Foster and Jennifer Lawrence? Go check out IMDB right now and you will see the announcement in one of the headlines. Don't get me wrong, what some men in the business have done to women over the last 100 years is reprehensible. These jerks get everything that's coming to them. However, not all men in the business are like that. From my perspective, I am getting really tired with the way women have been treating men over the last several decades in programs, films and even commercials. If men were to treat women in the same fashion, we would never hear the end of it.
The Shape of Water is extremely overrated. Nothing involving the creature worked at all, and barely any of the character motivations made any sense. However, it's inevitable that it wins big at the oscars. I would gladly put The Florida Project in place of The Shape of Water for best picture.
I think Fey and Poehler declined hosting the Oscars, don't know why, there are always thousands of comedians working on award ceremonies jokes, plus Tina and Amy are always hilarious !
Christy belongs on the left and Matt belongs on the right. This is nonsensical anarchy. One should not fool around with the laws of the universe.
This was recorded on a Wednesday though, so total anarchy is warranted. Normally they just do Thursdays right.
Actually, what really breaks the laws of the universe is that Christy drinks water (or whatever) from a cup.
My ranking of the best picture nominations:
9. Darkest Hour (5/10)
8. The Post (6/10)
7. Dunkirk (6/10)

3. Phantom Thread (10/10)
2. The Shape of Water (10/10)
1. Call me by Your Name (10/10)
Really? You think that little of Darkest Hour? Out of the 75 Churchill movies I've not seen one better.
How is The Shape of Water a 10?The script and story are kinda weak compared to everything else imo.
serban capraru it's admittedly a simple story, but it's got a lot of flair to it that makes it interesting.
9. Darkest Hour 6/10
8. The Post 7/10
7. Get Out 8/10

If God is good Sufjan Stevens will win Best Original Song for Mystery Of Love ❤️
He wasn’t good.
It is criminal Blade Runner did not get nominated for best picture and editing.
Denis was snubbed for Director.
Yep, that too.
Blade Runner & Florida Project are SO much better than that trash Darkest Hour
doubllechief didn’t like darkest hour at all tbh
Nah. The movie is visually appealing but its story is meh.
Will keep my fingers crossed for "Call me by your name", a beautiful movie and a masterpiece.
Chalamet was chalamazing!
tlovehater Call me by your name was the best film of last year.
When will Alonso's interview with Timothee Chalamet be released??? I am holding my breath here!
I wish Luca Guadagnino got a director nod. He directed CMBYN with a lot of flair and confidence. What was so special about the way Lady Bird was directed?

TCM owns Mankiewicz ass atm
GOD BLESS NOLAN.
glad he is nominated, regardless if he wins or not.
Will be rooting for Nolan, but wouldn't mind Ladybird or Get out win.
Get Out was a great film! I think some people want to downplay it because they couldn't relate to the main character.
As good as Phantom Thread, The Shape of Water and other pic noms are, it is BLADE RUNNER 2049 which will be remembered decades from now.
I'm glad Matt can admit that Christy and Alonzo are better movie critics, lol.
That was never his job title nor his aspiration. But he is passionate about movies, and that's what matters the most. Also it's Alonso with an ess.

Denis is the next Spielberg. Calling it now. That man knows how to put together a film and I have 100% confidence in him to nail Dune.
Hey maybe save some meth for the rest of the trailer park, Kent.
HitchensImmortal Me too. He is the perfect choice for Dune
HitchensImmortal Just ignore him. He just wants to troll.
That's frankly an insult to Denis. Speilberg is a hack, and hopelessly kitchsy and sentimental. Anyone who praises his work and uses his name as a byword for excellence instantly loses all credibility in my eyes.

If Shape of Water wins best picture, wouldn't it be the first Scifi or scifi-fantasy film to win?
I've actually seen all the best picture nominees and I'm team Phantom thread and three billboards!!
Why not Phantom Thread?!
Too weird for the oscars
It didn't get nominated for Screenplay and Film Editing, plus Vicky Krieps was sadly snubbed. I hope PTA wins someday, but I just don't think this is his year.
It hasn't won anything else.
Love you guys
Dodo Bird P
I can't wait to Gary Oldman win the Oscar, the guys seems genuinely grateful each time he's gotten an award this year
I'd be lieing if I said I wasn't waiting months for this video 😂 watched all your review video guys! Huge fan and hope to be in one of those seats someday!!
lying!
here comes the grammar police! get a life dude
Phantom Thread is SUCH a better movie than Get Out...
concurred.
Yupp
NOPE
They're both great from the point of storytelling and directing, but phantom thread is of higher quality in all other aspects (actors, cinematography, score, film editing, design, etc.)

Basically every Oscar discussion ever

Yay, It’s Oscar prediction video time!
I would love to know who Christy Lemire thinks should win best actor
Phantom thread has to win for god sake oscar shouldn’t be predictable for one goddamn time I hope phantom thread dominates
I absolutely love Alonso's antagonism towards The Greatest Showman
What is that sound at 4:52? Who does it?
Love can take any shape...NUFF SAID!!!
3 billboards, get out, and lady bird were the only movies from this year that I could see myself rewatching 10 years from now.
TheShachattack13 no Phantom Thread?!
I get that it’s great from a technical standpoint, but I found the story to be a bit boring-If I feel like watching a DDL movie ten years from now, I’ll be watching TWBW 10 out of 10 times.

Lmao wow the hate. Its ok.
OMG! It has NOTHING to do with racism :) I just don’t like movie. Do I have the right? I also did not like Shape of Water? Detecting racism there? :))
Get Out : Won best original screen play and the Shape of Water : Won best picture lol.
*Nana*
Are you a little *triggered* over the results Lol
“You can’t watch that movie and not have to change your perception of Tonya Harding completely.”
And for those of us who followed skating closely back then, you watch an interview with the real Tonya and it reaffirms so much of what you thought about her previously. She had an unbelievably hard life and did get treated unfairly, but she more culpable than fans of the film want to admit. There is also a bit of reimagining when it comes to her skating career as well.
Original script is going to go to three billboards. I'd be surprised if any other films win it.
Matt pulling a Tim Heidecker at the beginning
margot robbie gave a better performance than mcdormand
dingbat no shit she didn’t
McDormand, Oldman, Rockwell, and Janney will win big awards along with Del Toro. I think Original Screenplay will be a political upset and go to "Three Billboards" along with Adapted going to "Call me by your Name" making people happy. And, the producers of "Shape of Water" will be going up to collect Best Picture for a total of 5 Oscars.
lol the shade Christy threw at Ben was awesome
I think Nolan should have won Best Director for Interstellar.
Dunkirk was the best movie year, and it's not even close...
Why are you guys censoring cussing?
How did Harrison Ford not get nominated for supporting actor for Blade Runner? That was a textbook, pitch-perfect example of exactly what a supporting actor/character should be in a film.
"Get Out" is like a mediocre episode of "Black Mirror" that goes on for 45 minute too long
Jelena Vasiljević I woukd say the Twilight Zone
I agree with Alonso, the Oscars and other award shows are slowly becoming obsolete since most audiences stream what they want to watch and don’t listen to award shows when they pick their favorite movies of the year. Even indie movies are streamed now as well.
I don't like this new setup. Christy is to be HEAD OF TABLE at all times!
Also no jar
Three Billboards and Dunkirk all the way. Lets gooo
Phantom Thread baby! Three Billboards just looks like such a small story in a grimy podunk town.
Tommy Townsend Those are my favorites of the best picture nominees. And Christopher has finally to win. But he won't :(
Adam Craig "bestiality film" ? :D what movie do you mean? :D and Get Out is not a baity movie at all just because the protagonist is a black man and the antagonists are racist white people.
Kai Graw he means shape of water
Those two along with CMBYN and MAYBE The Post are the only best picture nominees that I think deserves there noms... the rest are average
I'd love to be able to watch a movie with you guys, and talk about it after.
Picking against Daniel Day Lewis for best actor is like picking against the UConn women's basketball team for the national title. There might be plenty of compelling choices to pick, but UConn is going to win.
Crossing fingers for Jonny greenwood, ddl, pta to win
Love the way Alonso says 'Really?' at 4:51
"The Shape of Water" is entertaining in every way a movie can be.
HitchensImmortal It's as long as it needed to be in that end bit. I think it works fine.
You're right. It was as long as it needed to be, but it made the acts a tad unbalanced. Left me wanting more on the back end. Personally I'd rather have the premise rushed and spend a lot more time on resolution.
HitchensImmortal But the question is, what exactly would fill that time? Do you mean to keep going with the story after they escape?
Darkest Hour for best makeup, Phantom Thread for best sound design
Also, Phantom Thread for best costume design, Greta Gerwig for best director, The Shape of Water for best picture, Saoirse Ronan for best actress
Get Out is not likely. Lady Bird might be a little more plausible BP upset, but it'll probably be Three Billboards or Shape of Water.
3 billboard and blade runner are the best of the year. Get out is good but it would be a big surprise if it wins.
So this is what Santa does rest of the year.
Where’s ben?
And I’m just here thinking Logan was the best film of the year.
The Greatest Showman is pants.
Im an Aussie and by law has to love Margot but she isnt getting it. Frances has it BUT i want Saoires. It will be so good if she finally won!
You guys are underestimating Three Billboards it will probably walk away with best picture.
how has Alonso been "burned too many times" by the Oscars? Did he direct Raging Bull or something? what a baby.
my poor La La Land
last year
Also, The Greatest Showman deserves best song and it’s not close.
How can you do this without Ben and his betting lines?!
Why is Matt acting like he's on a TV show now?
What I would like to see is a variation of the clip showing Hollywood people who died last year for Hollywood people who lost their career due to sex scandals, Jimmy Kimmel can do that segment after his Man's Show skit "girls jumping on trampoline"
1:36 Alonso speaks the truth
No way in hell will Get Out win Best Picture. Almost every other film is far superior than that overrated film.
Spells your as ur. Expect to be taken seriously. Pick one.
Chris Wright
It's really not that serious
How
Lady Bird or The Post is better than *Get Out?*
Are you Smoking Crack Lol
You're brain intelligence is overrated and obviously overheating Lol Get Out didn't win best picture but it definitely deserved to be nominated.
Get out and blade runner 2049 should win as many awards as possible. And please, academy, Greenwood over Desplat and Zimmer !
Blade Runner is just light years ahead of the sensibility of most Academy voters, and most people in the general population too. They don't really get it, it goes way over their obdurate heads.
Chris Wright just like the first one
Josue J Please, re-read my comment )) I'm saying that it deserves each nomination it got, especially in cinematography, design and visuals. If it was up to me, I'd definitely give more credit to Mr. Villeneuve and to producers for being bold enough to provide a sci-fi thriller with a budget of a marvel blockbuster.
Chris Wright Then it's only left to hope I'll live to see them admitting their ignorance and obduracy, while the movie itself becoming a sci-fi classic.
Nikita Lavrenov I completely misread your comment, my bad.
MyMagic I hope this is a joke
MyMagic111 I agree with you 100 percent. I also believe that A list actresses don’t have the power to just say no.
Someone make a gif of Alonso reacting to "This is Me" of 9:15 to 9:19.
9:15 *lol* 😂😂🤣🤣
Imo DDL > Oldman. Darkest hour is predictable and oscar baity.
SAOIRSE 😍
The Shape of Water is extremely overrated. Nothing involving the creature worked at all, and barely any of the character motivations made any sense. However, it's inevitable that it wins big at the oscars. I would gladly put The Florida Project in place of The Shape of Water for best picture.
I think Fey and Poehler declined hosting the Oscars, don't know why, there are always thousands of comedians working on award ceremonies jokes, plus Tina and Amy are always hilarious !
GET OUT WILL WIN BEST PICTURE! THE BLACK CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE!!!!!
Matt and is "uhhh's" need to move back to the end of the table. #ChristyForModerator
