    Coming from motorcycle racing, I absolutely adore the palm sliders. A whole different way to get personal with the asphalt.

    Definitely an epic race track, especially the bottom part was faster than expected, but Aaron, made the pass in the sketchiest place ever. Speechless!Again congratulations to all the riders in the finals and thanks for this video. This is true RACING!

    The biggest problem to me, doing this kind of race is to avoid to crush with the other racers, I think thats the most difficult thing that makes that so intense

      I too, find it difficult to avoid having a crush on the other riders. Love at first sight can be dangerous

    • @doblewood

      Yeah it's kinda bad because the first at the begining of the race is often the winner, they should do races against the clock instead

      Time trials are cool, but that's what qualifying is for. Part of what makes racing so fun is the dynamic heat by heat with other riders; thinking about how they're going to negotiate the course and what you can do differently to best them across the line.

      Matheus Dorn or you could always run into them instead! Then you could really crush them, grind those skulls into the asphalt!

    I love to go fast on my board but I don’t have longboard wheels and it Christmas soon so ima ask for some but do have any tips for any other supplies?

    • @flockenlp1
      @flockenlp1 3 роки тому +1

      If you go at speeds that your board could get the wiggles at, wear protective gear. That's all I can suggest, Board setup is up to personal preference. I'd recommend reading about the different parts online adn then decide what you want.

    Dude that makes me wonder if you'll end up with speed wobble

    • @tredecimangeli3196
      @tredecimangeli3196 3 роки тому

      They use special trucks and bushings as well as tucking like they do in the video to sorta help out with this. Speed wobbles are caused by the rear trucks turning from behind the board (often caused by too much weight in the rear of the board and poor truck setups) and is usually corrected with various setups and technique development

  • @nonames000
    @nonames000 7 років тому +4

    don't the two people on the right of the starting line have the much greater chance of winning? doesn't that hinder the accuracy of the race? Their boards can only go so fast and the ones with the shorter start are getting free seconds ahead of the others.

    • @HopkinSkate
      @HopkinSkate 7 років тому +6

      nonames000 it's racing, so fastest qualifiers get pole position. It's like saying the person at the front of the grid of a formula one race has an advantage. If there is an advantageous position at the start, it usually goes to fastest qualifier. As the finals show, fastest off the line does not always win. There are a lot of strategies to win.

    • @HowManyHenrys
      @HowManyHenrys 6 років тому

      The start line was angled slightly to put the left side of it further down the hill and counteract the natural advantage of starting on the right. Still, riders with higher qualifying positions get to choose their position on the line, and most chose the right-hand side.

    Jesus love you, he died on the cross for you, accept him as your lord and savior he can change everything. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (Jn 3:16"
    But you must repent too. From that time Jesus went about preaching and saying, Let your hearts be turned from sin, for the kingdom of heaven is near. (Matthew 4:17)…
