I think that’s what a lot of people aren’t noticing or revering. After 5 months of being released from a 13 yr prison term, battling a major health condition along the way, he put on one of Dancehall’s greatest shows!! I was early 20s when Kartel buss & in my head, all he was was a massive star. But now I’m realising this man is an impressive LEADER. He built the Gaza Empire and had a lot of people under his leadership. He built businesses, influenced dancehall culture in many ways including fashion, lyrical content etc. He carried on working behind bars and has come out blazing!! Tours. Product. Media. Music. Man’s basically carrying a hundred lives on his back! We are watching an icon at work.
