- I bought this bait a few weeks ago, "Strike King Rocket Shad"
This small spinnerbait has great action and works well when the bass are close to the bottom.

Thanks for video I am a new fisherman and bought this spinnerbait because all the bginner videos say a must have lure spinnerbait but didn't get anything yet and want to challenge myself to catch something with all of my lures.
Try to keep it simple. Spinnerbaits is how I started and a worm. Starting out in bass fishing will take some time. I'm still learning. One thing you have that I didn't is the amount of info you can find on youtube/social media. Tactical bassin is a good channel to learn from as well as many others.. You want to become a student of the sport. You talked about other lures you have. You can study every lure you have through youtube. For example, spinnerbaits are great, but they don't all the time. Hope this helps.

Had a question actually, how exactly do you know when your lure hits the bottom? Are you supposed to feel it in the rod or are you looking at the line or tip or?
The best way is to watch the line. If the wind is blowing you might want to use a heavier weight. If it's light weight you can tell by the line, if heavy both the line and the rod.

@@PrezOutdoors Tiny swimbaits like the z-man slim swimz. The small ones were biting the heck out of that thing Friday, crappie and white bass like it as well. Small swimbaits, Ned rigs, drop shots with small worms. Especially if you run into schools. Small baits will get more bites at Naci.
