I started watching your videos for about 2-3 years ago now and i just want to thank you for being a big inspiration in my life, like a BIG INSPIRATION, so thank you
BABY ringneck!! bringing me out of the woodwork!! littol baby!!! That bigger brown snake was beautiful, I love how chonky it was. And the coral was stunning, always a good video when you find one!!
I saw my first Coral snake in NE Florida last week. At dawn in the grass about 40 feet from a lowland wood edge. It was very jumpy like the one in your video. At first the snake put its head under a leaf and stayed still.
I've been catching garter snakes my whole life in Northern Mn as those and the red bellies are the only ones up in this region. When you say their musk is nasty, you are not kidding! Lol. I'm 54 and still to this day I will stop the car to grab one and get it off the road. Turtles too of course. Love the content! I wish we had more species up here to find. But flipping tin in a state that does is on my bucket list for sure! Take it easy!
What an amazing video Noah! I am thrilled that you found some snakes to show us! I really enjoyed this and I am looking forward to more fall herping! Here’s to wishing you lots of snake filled adventures! Have an awesome weekend!!! 😄💙🐬🐊🐍🫶🏼
Sick finds as always! 4:04 I believe the garter is using it's tail to mimic a prey item so a potential predator will go for the tail instead of its head, giving the snake a better chance of survival. Or it could just be fanning musk fumes at you
I live in Louisiana, the first time i saw one, was on a hiking trail, near the state prison, we went because, down here, waterfalls are improbable, and this wildlife area supposedly had 7 we only saw 1, but on the way back to the car, a guy said there was a cool rat snake, near the trail, as soon as i saw the chevrons, i knew that guy was wrong thinking back, the time of year, and how fat it was, i think it was a pregnant female, she was going after a chipmunk, which i never knew we had down here lol, we have lots of squirrels.... but that day,i got to see 3 new animals, the timber, a chipmunk, and at the restroom, a Louisiana bark scorpion
It is better that rattlesnakes don’t come on the roads often, because they are getting smashed all the time. Nice coral snake and I think with the cleanest colors, although the lighting might have been better. They aren’t as calm and retiring as advertized. Also nice bright copperhead.
When the garter snakes musk you, do they somehow evert their cloacas? When you discuss being musked, it often looks like tissue is bulging from the snake’s vent. Does this harm the snake - i.e. is it like some sort of intestinal prolapse?
A lot of snakes tend to stick their cloaca out while musking. It doesn't harm them, it's like humans bearing down to poop. They're pushing and bearing down to keep musking.
What temperature was it during these herps? Just generally? Im newer to herping and am not sure if its too cold around me yet for snakes to be out or not
Werehopefullytravelling to Colorado next year and I’m planning on going out herping. I don’t care if I only see a ring neck. I’ll be stoked with anything. Not much to be found in the north of England
Belly pattern on that Coral was phenomenal!!
What a GORGEOUS coral snake!! In all my time in Georgia I have never uncovered a coral snake.

Lets gooooo! The coral was nuts! Tough luck with the Timbers, glad you broke the streak
Man, every single snake in this episode was an absolute hottie. They were all 10/10 gorgeous, even the deceased one.
"Ridiculous highs, ridiculous lows"

Can’t believe it’s been since Tony Hawk’s birthday that you saw a timber!

I loved the way that the Coral Snake's yellow head popped in the camera footage compared to the rest of its body, which was drab in comparison.
That yellow is stunning.
that part where you were talking about the clouds...reminds me of Cheaha State Park
Found my lifer timbers on a rock outcrop overlook while hiking the mountain. It was an amazing experience, I'll never forget it
Idk which one I liked more the reddish copperhead or the coral snake. They were both gorgeous
Been waiting on Noah to upload- weekend complete lol

Thanks for showing the gray rat and corn at the same time. We wouldn’t have known the difference if you hadn’t had them at the same time.❤
Nice video.
Have a timber question - the babies- can they rattle? I mean with noise?
Lets fucking goooo

Even with musk, Noah boops. 😊

I’ve been watching your videos for awhile but can’t recall, do you ever find eastern diamondbacks?
He had a video this past spring with Indigo Snakes and a huge Eastern Diamondback.
Noah, were you in South Alabama or North Alabama? I’m from north central Alabama and I don’t think we have corals. I could be wrong.
Coral snakes Micrurus fulvius are found near the coast and pine forest.

You the timbers to stay off the road, they listen and you get mad. Make it make sense
There are a lot of pythons and snakes here, so scared. 16:50
He’s pretty fast to catch those little lizards by hand, they were always too quick for us to grab
