Hi Rnzy! I have just started getting into shoe reselling a week ago. My cleaning supplies got here today and I have about 10 pairs that I have sourced. I just found your channel so have binged your last 10 or so. Thank you for all the information on getting started. I think the hardest part is consistently sourcing, but you learn every day.
@@rnzynow Thanks! Quick question: I see that you use USPS priority mail for most shoes. How are you able to convince the buyer to pay the higher shipping rate? Or do you offer a small discount to get the price back to say what UPS Ground would be? I assume the free boxes and consistency is easier for you. Thanks for the great info 👊
On Poshmark shipping is always the same under 5lbs anywhere in the country. These aren’t flat rate boxes even though they look similar. Same with Mercari and FB Marketplace. We don’t use EBay where the shipping varies more.
I have a question about time management ,I have attention deficit and have trouble with staying on track . Do you have a reg routine or a schedule that you do?That does not including thrifting ? like 9-10 cleaning or photos at a certain time , listing ? Help!!!!!!😮
Great video! One quick question... Why do you put your logo in all your photos? Is it for branding purposes? Or so people don't "borrow" your pics for their own listings? Or another reason?
Your videos are really helpful! When starting out without a lotnof money would you recommend keeping prices on the lower side so things sell quicker and you can build up more inventory?
Any tip on preventing shoe rack collapses? I zip tie 2 racks back to back. Is then taking another set of 2 and connecting end to end the key to stabilize
We leave the stinky shoes at the thrift. We only source shoes that don’t smell bad and don’t need a lot of cleaning on the inside. Strict sourcing always makes things easier later on.
Do you guys use any type of chrome extension or apps that helps share your listings on Poshmark? I’ve seen where Poshmark’s terms of service are against bots but wasn’t sure if it’s you guys sharing or own listings to get sales?
No we don’t use any bots. We don’t even own a computer. We have hired Virtual Assistants to help share our listings. They are humans that log into our account and share. We have connected with them through a company called PoshmarkSharer.
So in previous videos you mentioned that you use google sheets to keep track of sales and all the fun numbers stuff . Do you have a template for that or suggestions on how to set that up for a new reseller?
Our goal is to always source shoes that don’t need to be cleaned on the inside. Spraying some Grandmas cleaner and using a soft bristle brush may work if you have some pairs that need it.
Thanks for this video! I am now a subscriber 😀 I have 1 question.... Poshmark charged you 12.00 for 1 pair of shoes?? I'm curious cuz that's more then any marketplace that I'm using. Ty
Yes. But every marketplace has a different value for each pair. A lot of the time we sell pairs higher on Poshmark and there is better seller protection. Pros and cons to every marketplace
Hey guys, I have a question about your shoe trees. Do you have a pair that fits all sizes or multiple sets to fit all sizes? Do you have a recomendation? I have a couple of pine sets I've found at estate sales but they only fit mens 9-12ish. Thanks
We price at the high end of comps to leave room to negotiate while still hitting our profit margins. It’s important to know what you’re going to list a pair for BEFORE you buy it so you are taking the guess work out….and that’s done through researching comps and only buying profitable pairs to flip.
I see you use priority mail boxes, when selling I noticed Poshmark do you have to pay a little more to ship with that box or is it the regular poshmark shipping?
Sounds like you’re assuming these boxes are flat rate. They look similar but these are not flat rate boxes. We pay the normal $7 and change to ship everything on Poshmark.
@@rnzynow I'm looking on the usps site and priority mail boxes are only flat rate t there, do you have a different way you get them. Would love to sell shoes and not ship in polymailers.
Dalton sent me! Nice teaching vid!
Thank you! Great profit and video!

Both those reasons 🤘🤘
Your videos are really helpful! When starting out without a lotnof money would you recommend keeping prices on the lower side so things sell quicker and you can build up more inventory?
We recommend pricing at the market value based on searching comps.
Sweet flip! Hammock, is that a new selling app?
No Hammoq is a listing service that connects us with a team of Virtual Assistants to help list and cross list inventory.
@@rnzynow wow! Thanks!
🤝🤝🤝
Where do u buy those white plastic shoe 👟 inserts?
Need some advice from shoe experts: May pick up some winter shoes and boots from an auction soon. Should I list right away or hold till Fall?
It can’t sell if it’s not listed. We sell winter boots all summer long. List them.
Hey y’all where do you get your wood picture background??
Wooden box we found on the side of the road years ago.
@@rnzynow 😂
Any tip on preventing shoe rack collapses? I zip tie 2 racks back to back. Is then taking another set of 2 and connecting end to end the key to stabilize
Yes that’s what we do. And we store the heavier pairs on the bottom rows and the lighter ones on the higher rows.
How do you know how much to resell your shoes? I don’t want to under sell and make less profit.
Check the completed listings or sold listings of the shoes on the marketplace you plan to sell them
What about inside the shoe? What if they stink? Febreeze, antibacterial wipes?
We leave the stinky shoes at the thrift. We only source shoes that don’t smell bad and don’t need a lot of cleaning on the inside. Strict sourcing always makes things easier later on.

Hi- what does your name stand for RNZY??
Ryan and Lindsay …. RNZY
So in previous videos you mentioned that you use google sheets to keep track of sales and all the fun numbers stuff . Do you have a template for that or suggestions on how to set that up for a new reseller?
We have a video showing how we started our sheets here on UA-cam and then you can manipulate those sheets based on what you like to keep track of.
@@rnzynow oh perfect ha guess I haven’t made it to that one yet!! Thank you so much stoked to follow in your shoes 😉
How do you clean inside of the shoes? Thanks for all you do
Our goal is to always source shoes that don’t need to be cleaned on the inside. Spraying some Grandmas cleaner and using a soft bristle brush may work if you have some pairs that need it.
@@rnzynow ok thank you

Yes. But every marketplace has a different value for each pair. A lot of the time we sell pairs higher on Poshmark and there is better seller protection. Pros and cons to every marketplace
they also include a shipping label with that fee
Hey guys, I have a question about your shoe trees. Do you have a pair that fits all sizes or multiple sets to fit all sizes? Do you have a recomendation? I have a couple of pine sets I've found at estate sales but they only fit mens 9-12ish. Thanks
We have a small set for kids shoes and when the shoes are really big we stuff the toes with bubble wrap and then use the regular shoe trees.
@@rnzynow Right on.
Really appreciate all of your content. What's your method for pricing your sneakers?
We price at the high end of comps to leave room to negotiate while still hitting our profit margins. It’s important to know what you’re going to list a pair for BEFORE you buy it so you are taking the guess work out….and that’s done through researching comps and only buying profitable pairs to flip.
How would you suggest expanding your knowledge of... how to tell is the shoes are legitimate or not and how to tell if the are too fast gone to get?
UA-cam and Reddit.
I see you use priority mail boxes, when selling I noticed Poshmark do you have to pay a little more to ship with that box or is it the regular poshmark shipping?

We get the free “shoe boxes” and the free “1095 boxes”. Watch our “how we ship shoes” video to see exactly how we ship. These boxes are not flat rate.
@@rnzynow thank you so much!!
a question what is the name of your printer to get the lavel of usps from mercari please?
We use a regular wireless ink jet Epson printer. Change the settings to 3.5 x 5 and we print on the free usps label 228
via Daily Refinement
Hammick? To be listed on multiple market places? What is hammick?
We don’t use them anymore. Ended up having a rough time with quality.
Can you list one item on postmark and mercuri at the same time
Yes
What is your return % ?.
Less than 1% per year. We don’t use EBay or Amazon so that helps have a lower return rate.
@@rnzynow Interesting thanks!
What is your Poshmark closet
RNZY….what’s yours?
