@@Aceroxx02 No! In 1972 Mick Taylor always played the solo and 1975 Ronnie did it!
The stones were a significant part of my growing up and I will always love this band, but age is showing, especially in jaggers voice, no longer power its faded into a shell of what it once was and gone is the crispness in musical notes, it pains me to say this, but it's time to fade away, thanks for the incredible memories

Lisa Fischer's live performances of this are monumental, iconic. Its a challenge to follow that, but i think Sasha is really belting it out here. Its just about her best performance of it since she joined the band i feel.

For Mick Jagger choosing you to be the one with him, way out in front of the fans doing Shelter, must feel incredible.
One of their greatest songs and surreal to hear live.
Sasha struts out around 2.30 and she blasts out that first line as it echoes out. Then more as she struts and gets that voice piercing. Its here i feel Sasha now stamping herself on this special song, Lisa is still the greatest, but Mick aint gonna hand this role out to anyone other than an incredible singer.

Stop! Just stop. SMH Y'all should have done a tour of very small gigs if you wanted to give something to the fans. This is a freak show! Is Keith even playing? How many guitarist are playing behind the curtains.
Don't talk nonsense. Where else have you heard guitars besides Keith and Ronnie? Two guitarists on stage and both of them are perfectly audible. Sure, Keith has been off-key on this song regularly for the last 10 years, but it's silly to make up something about some secret musicians backstage.
There’s only Ronnie and Keith playing. After listening to the two of them play since I started listening to the Stones in ‘78, that’s exactly who is playing. The two together is so unmistakeable that it’s easy to hear Keith missing some of the notes. You’re obviously confused. I recommend you go back to sleep.
