Eh, I think that's a significant overstatement. IIM is not only a very safe Bishop counter, but an extremely fast one. I don't think this is as dramatic.

A natural counter forthe class she's supposed to counter. Easy access to many mechanics that helps vs annoying defenders and yet, she can be counter by other champions in the game one way or another. Not a bad design, she's going to be a must have at long term in the game IMO
It’s a little odd that she’s not incinerate immune, but her utility is elsewhere I guess. I’m surprised her s3 doesn’t have some sort of extra ramp mechanic, like increasing incinerate stacks to 50 or a permanent extra vulnerability. She seems cool though, and it’s refreshing to see a mutant that isn’t just get prowess, launch special, pray for crits
I'm playfully tempted to say I have Bingo. 😂 I was wondering when the first comment on her lack of immunity would be coming in. I think the community has gotten way too used to champs that use a dot also being immune to said dot. If that's how it had always been, the node "Clapback" never would've been made. Ultimately we decided her lore didn't demand said immunity and that she didn't need it for her targets. I get the Sp3 comment, but given the other pauses and refreshes, that probably would've needed a lot of clauses to work (so you didn't lose them on the way to your next refresh), and might have ended up dominating the kit. Agreed she is fun and different.
She looks like one of the best skill counters in the game, but outside of the skill defenders, I don't think she looks all that amazing. But still, we have a lot of crazy good skill defenders, so I think she will be useful
Her evade utility and non contact does make her a unique choice for certain fights. Except from that, judging from the deep dives, she won’t be a fast finisher or a big damage dealer in BGs. She will be in the 45k-48k at best scorer. She would be like spider punk with utility but no average damage
Maybe it's just me, but 3.5 in utility seems way too low. Maybe she doesn't have a ton of different pieces of utility, but Shuri has shown us that having all non-contact attacks is tremendously useful, and having no debuffs and the ability to totally shut down Bullseye on top of that makes me value her utility as high as almost any champ I can think of. Great video as always, this is the most I've looked forward to an offensively focused champ in months.
I think that's maybe a bit of an overcorrection there on the utility front. I understand what you mean, but even comparing directly to Shuri, Shuri also has AAR immunity, doesn't gain the dex buff, and is immune to shock. It's clearly possible to have more utility than her. It's very valuable utility, absolutely, but this is a good way from a 5/5.

“This attack can be charged 5 seconds longer than normal” how long to heavy attacks normally last? I know some champions can charge their heavy attack indefinitely, but I didn’t know it had a specific set time.
All non-contact means not able to parry stun her? Also wouldn't that 15% evade chance make her a new evade problem if we can't stun and knock her down easily?
Ive come back to this video as i try to learn her offensively. My constructive feedback is that the pause from lights isnt long enough. In a most settings, you have to bait specials. If the AI isnt being cooperative, your incens fall off. If the opponent fires a special, most if not all the duration of the incinerates will be gone. Which feels like a lose lose. I understand the bar is high, but with onslaught, you heavy cancel into specials so the degen starts paused. It would make her a much more enjoyable champ for all content if you didnt need to stress so much that your incinerates were going to fall off. Simple fix and what im hoping for with a rebalance is that the pause from light is extended by a LOT and/or all passives on opp are paused during all specials not just NTW. Imo, her starting flow is great, but the maintaining feels too AI dependent. I think even if players could easily go from L2 to L2 without NEEDING and l1 refresh wouldnt make her overpowered for short and medium fights
Not saying that won't happen, but couple things to consider in relation to this: - she will never be a nuke. It's really important to fully accept that, because the damage question has a way of coloring all other feedback. You didn't explicitly ask for more, but I feel the need to say this given the comment about "it wouldn't be broken for short fights," and she was never intended to even knock on that door. - pretty much all of her utility is completely automatic. There is no upkeep to how she turns off so many skill threats. She just does. This means the limiter on her pretty much needs to be related to her damage, and there's a good reason for losing your whole ramp to be a real possibility. That's what's keeping her from being the "mutant Nimrod" people were worried we'd shipped with her, and we have to be very careful not to "fix" something that shouldn't be fixed. - a pause on lights and a pause on a heavy when the opponent can't be stunned with a debuff are *very* different skill asks, and should probably not be compared Again, it's not my call if she gets tuned up, and if it was, it wouldn't have been made yet, but I'm trying to offer some context for why things are the way they are. It's always easy as a designer to remove all the tension from a character's loop. It's also very often the wrong call.

Rather have a down tune to bullseye. Hope I’m wrong, but feel like this will make MCOC less enjoyable. I don't expect her to be reliably putting up 52k+ against all the main skill defenders. 3) you say you'd "rather" have a tunedown to Bullseye, but the two aren't related. Even if he gets tuned down (because reminder that we haven't made that call yet), there will still be value in more counters. And when we do make the call, it will be in relation to how he landed in the game *before* her release, not after. I'm usually not explicit about this stuff for obvious reasons, but point blank - no one on the team is evaluating Bullseye's impact with NTW in mind. 4) she's easily blocked out of numerous nodes on the war map. Nobody places skill champs on purify nodes anyway, and she actually won't counteract the path 7 nodes because those apply debuffs themselves, rather than relying on attacker kits. Plus she has no immunities. I think you're way overestimating the impact there. So overall, please take a minute to actually see what happens.

Just to be clear here… you’re saying her damage is lacklustre in a BG environment? I understand that is subjective to her rank but all else being equal do you think her impact on the skill class will not be as great as people have already started to think?
@andyfox2057 that is not what I said. But you have to remember a large part of Nimrod's dominance is/was his insane speed. A single Sp2 killed nearly anything, with no pressure to maintain anything on the way or afterwards. I don't think Eloise is cast in that same mold. Her damage will be enough, but you'll pick her because her kit actually makes sense, rather than because she's a generic nuke.

That one I'm actually okay with. Expanding targets to an appropriate tag is very different than removing immunity as a lock entirely.
