Awesome. Air, Land, & Sea is such a good game. I'm going to have to give this one a try.

You might already have it, but if you don’t, FYI there is already a small little expansion (Auxillary Pack 1) that adds “Love”, “Hate”, and “Apathy” card sets. And there is also a completely optional neoprene playmat I’ve seen that the publisher made. So if you really like it there are those possible add-ons.

      That's great--I didn't know about that pack.

My first play was kind of marred by some imbalance in the random card sets we had, and some misunderstandings about how harsh it can be to lose a compile battle, because your stuff gets deleted too.
But my second play was AMAZING. We did use random card sets again, but we had a much better understanding, and we felt SO much strategy and tactics in there. We also used the control token, which was REALLY important for the defensive part of the game, so I will never not use that.
It absolutely rewards repeat plays of course for the drafting and high order strategy. Gets a 3 out of 3 rating from me.

I'm glad you gave it a few tries! And I agree it's good to know up front that both sides get deleted when a compile battle is over. We used the control token in both games--it's a little extra rules overhead, but I agree that it's worth it.

Oh and most of the sets go from 0 to 5 on the 6 cards, but I’ve noticed Love has no zero (1-6), while Metal and I think Gravity both have a 6 too but they trade out a middle card (one has no 3 and one has no 4).
