( Español ) Aquí tenemos una excelente mezcla entre la Sant Andreu Jazz Band del 2021 y la Big Band de ex grandes figuras que creó Chamorro ese año aprovechando la inercia del 15º aniversario. Más el "abuelo" Scottie, claro, que es desde hace muchos años como un chaval más entre todos ellos.
El resultado es extraordinario, como no podía ser menos, con unos vientos de antología, Scott y Marçal al mando. Puro caviar beluga para paladares exquisitos.
[ Y me encanta esa tradición que (casi) siempre se cumple: los miembros oficiales de la banda con la camiseta negra de rigor, los ex y otros invitados "de paisano". Genial ]
( English ) Here we have an excellent mix between the Sant Andreu Jazz Band of 2021 and the Big Band of former great figures that Chamorro created that year taking advantage of the inertia of the 15th anniversary. Plus "grandfather" Scottie, of course, who has been like one more kid among all of them for many years.
The result is extraordinary, how could it be less, with anthology winds, Scott and Marçal in command. Pure beluga caviar for exquisite palates.
[ And I love that tradition that is (almost) always fulfilled: the official members of the band with the obligatory black T-shirt, the ex and other guests "in civilian clothes". Brilliant ]

Both in terms of solos and ensembles, this is actual, bona fide saxophone playing that will withstand scrutiny for decades to come.

That was pretty damn fantastic! And how old are the two trombonists in this video, Hugo and Luc, ten? How about Sander? Eleven maybe? It's great to see all the black shirts with the graduates of the program and with Scott too. It must be a kick in the pants for them! We should start seeing them in "Jazz House" and "Jamboree" videos before too long. The biggest problems they will face are all the extraordinary musicians that have already graduated from the program.
