FINALLY we can ride all the newest bike parks latest features. If you have been watching the series so far, the medium line of jumps at Woburn Bike Park has had a complete change of direction, freshly rebuilt with new jumps, berms and a trick trick step up. Yes mate sooo good!! High maintenance though but we are trying to get around that 💪🏻💪🏻
@@KIINGOFSPADES yeah..I did not realize that.. Worked with this sand material few times and it is easy to pack and shape but also easily eroding and deteriorating.. But it would be much harder to create these art like trails without it..great work on that and also on capturing the proces in videos..many new trail builders as a result..DOPE!

Yeh we try lots of different techniques the biggest one is getting the transitions right so it doesn’t create ruts, especially form going flat ground to berms, needs to flow and if that’s right the tyres just keep compressing it, thank you LW 🙏🏼

I would recommend hard PVC sewer drain instead of corrugated tubing it doesn’t catch silt or collapse

Ideally not buddy… slick tyres is a must really as it tears up the ground, a hard tail is better as the trails are more built for that to be honest

Thank you 🙏🏼 yeh water and packing, build in layers, 1 foot at a time and then compress.. the whacker plates an Altrad belle minipac, cheers chief 👍🏼👍🏼

Hi, I'm going to build my own dirt jumps and not sure what type of dirt to use. What do you guys use?
Yo Jacob that’s cool!! We use what we have in the ground, importing way too expensive, what dirt do you have?

or people pay a lot to dispose of these heavy materials so if you let them drop off at the site for free. i run a garden waste business and been into riding long time. i cant wait to build trails with the collected waste. i just need land... if i lived near you i would give you so much free soil and sand and im just one person :)
these trails are sick you guys do a great job!!
also if you do garden waste and clearances / shed clearances you can get loads of free stuff like tools, benches, stuff you can build social areas with, kitchen stuff, all kinds of furniture. all you need is a van and some able bodie(s)
