13:25 The parent drops off some unseen food item. They all start begging except the sneaky one on the far right who turns away and spreads its wings. You can see it's trying to swallow something for while before its neighbour suddenly cottons on - but by then the food's all gone.
Thank you very much for showing us these marvellous birds. I watched the last of the kestrel juveniles fly away from the nest in the wall of my house on the 16th June having had a webcam running from the beginning. @
Big 👍 Super footage. Some great close-ups. (I counted 5 eggs and 5 chicks, not 6 as said in the title) Very well filmed. An enjoyable watch - Nature and the Wildlife & Birds within are the Greatest Free Show on Earth - if you have a little patience and 'see' what is around you ◕‿◕
Mom is thinking hey human, don't think I can't see your camcorder, I know that you are filming me and my babies. But since you are not a threat I will not attack you, but you must keep your distance or you'll regret it. I know that my babies are magnificent and you can't help yourself from capturing this footage. Thanks 😊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊💜💜
Wow I see that the kestrel don't be killing their babies even if one of them is weaker than the rest I love this birds .mom always in a watch out .👍👍👍👍AWESOME VIDEO

I'm surprised that mama kestrel was able to feed all the six chicks and none of them died. There must be an abundant food in that area. But where is daddy kestrel? Daddy kestrels don't help in feeding the chicks?
Great Video.Ver clear, I have 2 questions. 1. How does mom ensure that all chicks get the food?.I see many in the front line get. Behind ones ??? 2. When does mom eat ?.She also need to survive.
There is a bird family that builds their nest at the top of my door every spring for four years now. What I have learnt from seeing how they raise their families is that birds have live in matrimonial groups: husband and wife. The wife does most of the family work, i.e. building the nest, and laying the eggs. However, they take turns between husband and wife on warming the eggs up to hatching time. The chicks are hatched blind and at the moment they spring out of the egg shell, they start by opening wide their mouths to eat- NO MILK. The parents take turns to go hunt and bring food to the chicks. You may think that the parents overfeed chicks, because feeding runs continuously non-stop. It runs continuously for about a week before the chicks can start to fly. And when they start flying, they just stay in the yard for about a week before their disappear altogether. During the last week before all disappear, the chicks learn how to hunt for food while the parents still feed them. In summer I break down the nest to clean my door just to see them coming again in the next spring. I am arranging for them to start paying property tax during their stay, and the cost of demolishing their nest from my door in summer.
Wow, 6 healthy chicks.. Their parents deserve a medal.. Thanks for the video
Thank you love kestrels
Falcon chicks are so adorable! Just melts my heart.

I like that there isn't much sibling rivalry with Kestrels. Eagles and Ospreys' young have serious to brutal sibling rivalries!
## Пять ОДУВАНЧИКОВ , и какая красивая мамочка у них .. спасибо большое за КРАСИВОЕ ВИДЕО ...06/09/21/
UA-cam is so strategic they know I like Kestrels and they recommended this video!

Parent of the year no doubt, some birds have a hard time raising one or two mouths to feed. NICE job.
Wow!! How beautiful they are!
Raising 6 is a lot of mouths to feed. Great job by the parents
Great mother 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Good video
incredible and so awesome
Can someone translate what he is talking about on the phone?
5 eggs ended up with 5 young kestrels. Look like the chick survival rate is very high compared with eagles
6 chicks
Happy family
No doubt about it
Kestrel mama did not do some family planning..... all those six chicks. she is a great mother kestrel.
Yup, great mother produced six chicks from five eggs!
Excellent shooting, George!!!
As the chicks get older the mother just drops off the food and leaves, then its a free for all.
Amazing 😍🔥🔥
She such a great mother those baby are growing so nicely when will they fly the nest is crowded
Amazing footage one of the best raptor videos on UA-cam , I see a lot of mole crickets are consumed
Sure is a pretty bird.
That one chick gets most of the morsels. His brother was biting his mouth because he wanted some, too.
Just hope all of them are being fed equally.
It's tiring work breaking out of ones shell 😊 but think of all the food they got from the lizard 🦎
Great video, thank you 🙏🏻
Which of these two prefers a kestrel mouse? sparrow?
MOUSE
Как они без воды, в мясе ведь её очень мало.
إن كان لهذه الجوارح رحمة فأن لله رحمات بنا نحن بني البشر وإن كنا عنه لغافلون
My advice if you go there again just bring them chicken, rat, bird etc.to help her mother
Very nice
Πανέμορφη και φανταστική ουρά!👏👏

Mom knows everything. Eats away from the nest. Thank you
jagadeesha narve mom eat and give for the children, God organize everything
During the breeding season, the kestrel brings all her food to her nestlings, she eats very little, just like any other animal parent.
Now I see 6 chicks
im assuming the chicks paid for standard overnight fedex air shipping. 😂
9:56 MY MOM TOLD ME YOU HAVE A CALL OVER PHONE xD
Τέλειο!
11:11 omg imagine having 5 mouths to feed literally 10 pairs of eyes watching on you

I think it s the smallest kind of falcon In the world
NO
Ya
@@georgekonstantinouwildcyprus perhaps England's Sparrow Hawk is the smallest.
@@katydidiy no. Maybe the Merlin is smallest
Pygmy falcon and black-thighed falconet are the smallest falcon species (event though they are not in the falcon genus, thr n falconinae subfamily)
