-Solar was complaining the vocal of Wheein’s song is too hard
-Wheein was complaining Solar’s song dance is too hard
-Moonbyul was complaining that Hwasa’s outfit is too hard.
-Hwasa was having the time of her life covering Moonbyul’s song😂
🤣 I just love that both Solar and Hwasa wanted to do Eclipse LOL
But in the My Con movie, Hwasa did complain about the Eclipse outfit being too restrictive 😆
Mamamoo are like that student who always complain that “the test is too hard”, “I don’t understand anything”, “I did horrible” and then ACE all the tests with A+
As an A student myself, I did have that happen once. I took Intro to Engineering to fill out my schedule. I got the only A in the class, but I didn't understand a damn thing.
Singing each other's solo songs as their own is something only Mamamoo can do perfectly
truly! they did an amazing job covering each other's songs! 🥰
This was a great collection. There is actually another behind the scenes where they are learning each other's dances for the the concert. All of them were struck by things being harder than they seemed. The Maria body rolls in particular were painful for the other members. The other part changes with Changsub, Suhyn and Lee Hong Gi all have rap parts that Solar nails of course. Oh, and the Solarsido clip of Maria was part of a medley. She has several, which are all great.
Yeah, that dance practice was really fun
The sound of the crowd screaming from the fancams on the first night for the Solo Parade section is insane when the audience realises that it's Solar singing Watercolour, not Wheein lol
The Part Change videos Solar did with Changsub (BTOB), Suhyun (AKMU) and Lee Hong-Gi (FT Island) on Solarsido are also worth a watch if you get a chance.
Ugh, i live for them singing lunatic. 😍😍. Ill never get tired of them singing each others songs. I remember seeing somewhere that Wheein was complaining that Solar said her song was easy for Wheein… but every word ended up having like a dance/hand movement. Also when they were practicing the Maria dance part when they were on the floor, they all complained it was to hard and they couldnt do it 😂😂
According to Moonbyuls season greeting her comeback is in February so not in time for the end of the deep dive.
There is more behind the scenes of the Solo switch, like them learning the dances. Wheein talking on stage how panicked she was because Hwasa was taking too long with changing outfits or her beeing mad at Solar because the Honey dance is harder than Solar said.
My mantra while watching Mamamoo+ MVs: "must not ship them, must not ship them....."

Mamamoo covering each others song is really a first and I am so happy Mamamoo showing love for each other’s song made my Moomoo heart stopped, jumped and made a whole types of heart fluttering😂
Their part change was very iconic and to this day still blows me away. Seeing it live during their US tour was a whole other experience altogether. They also do have a behind video that shows them learning the choreo for each other's song which is definitely something to you need to check out!
Solar did do Water Color for the concerts and absolutely nailed it. What I found particularly touching was they ALL did Maria, like they were all telling Hwasa that she's okay and not to be so hard on herself. Wheein did Honey with her honey vocals and made it like her own song.
There's a slightly different version of them covering each other's songs for the Encore performances in Seoul in June - definitely worth adding to a list if you don't have it already!
This coverage reflects the close and genuine friendship among themselves, which I don't find in other groups. I could be wrong though, but there is no mistake about Mamamoo's relationship that seems so relateable and honest.

Getting to watch the solo stage in person during the mycon tour was amazing! I knew it was coming, but my sister didn’t and was shocked/amazed lol her reaction was great.
it's a shame you didn't react to the behind the scenes of them practicing the part change for the concert. It has Wheein in it and they're explaining all the choices and teaching each other their dance moves - also on MMMTV - and brilliant of course
The dancers were having a blast during the bla bla bla part of Lunatic. They were all smiling like kids lol. All of them covering each other's songs on the tour was so special to me and honestly so iconic of them.

They are the only group that have 4 successful soloist in a group, we didn’t expect they do a switch during the performance. We did expect RBW will come out the dvd for MyCon concert but seem like don’t have. Even their MyCon encore concert, their switch performance got a bit different from the original MyCon concert. This is the group for of sincere when come in performance (even the encore concert they do it differently from the original). Too much effort they put in. They even have the behind scene (MMMTV) where they do the dance practice for the switch where they teach each other their dances move
I would also recommend the behind the scenes of them preparing for this, as well as encore performance of the solo switch. I won't spoil it, but they made changes that are worth checking out

For me, this is an interesting thing and I think it's only mamamoo who has an idea like that. If anything I apologize it wasn't meant to be a comparison or anything.

They're right, Wheein's voice fits everything 😂. Her voice and dance style are super versatile.
I am glad Hwasa & Byul swapped since I just cannot imagine Hwasa ever doing a concept like Eclipse on her own or Moonbyul doing a concept like Twit. So it was refreshing to see.
Watercolor & Honey swap was less whiplash but still really fun!
And then the mini medley at the end with all of them, so good!

Great video, some of these I have not seen. They all know each other's songs, obviously because they are a close knit group but also I think it is part of their overall brand, mamamoo is any of them in any combination and really every song including solos are part of the overall brand. As these videos show during shows, fan meetings and etc, any one of them could be asked to sing literally any song. yes Solar has a few videos where she is with herself singing songs, like that Interview she did. There are also other duets with Cosmic Girl on solarsido as well. Amazing is how they all have very distinct voices but they can sing each others songs sounding like each other but in their own voice. And I saw My Con in LA, it was awesome, the switchups and OT4 solos were my favorite part. Though by LA it was well known the switchups were going to happen, just wish those were full songs for each. Funny watching solar doing the sing along for every song and there is a practice for the solos, hearing Solar scream its impossible to get your back to move like that for Maria choreo is hilarious. Solar's part switch videos are greatl fyi, t he pants solar is wearing, I Hate Sunshine, Wheein wears those pants in the 1.2.3 EOI MV last year, no idea why.
On solars channel she has Solar vs Solar where she sings songs as “two” different Solars. Of course there is also the Part switch she has also done on her channel with a few other people. Her channel also has things with Cosmic Girl.
I remember when I saw the My Con movie that when they talked about the solo’s Solar said learning Watercolor was hard. And the jacket for Eclipse for Hwasa was a little tight so she had trouble doing all the choreography properly. Twit is such the opposite of Byul that Byul doing it was fun. I enjoyed very much watching the solo medley in person when I saw them in Baltimore. I love that they did the cover medley of each others solos as an ode to each other and they tried to put their own spin while also honoring the original.
Their solo stages at MY CON convinced me to buy the ticket and watched them live

Great video ensemble. The only thing missing is the dance practice for the show, where each take turns teaching the other three their choreographies (especially the Maria choreo part is hillarious).😊😊😊

Hwasa being off beat sends me way back to Love Lane were first Wheein and later MooMoos were counting for her cause she missed her beat in this song almost every time 😛
And if you can find the video of Wheein were she sings Don't you are in for a treat. I can't find it anymore, but it is an older VLive of her as a jukebox were she sings short snippets of songs requested by MooMoos. It's perfect for a chill evening.
