Let me play devil's advocate. Signature cards are Hearthstone's implementation of gacha mechanics. The ideology behind these cards is a surprise mechanic. They are intentionally designed to make you buy signature cards you don't want. As a player, you say the right thing, but from a profit perspective, you're asking Blizzard to give up revenue. Perhaps you will be allowed to buy a specific card in a few months as part of a bundle. Gacha mechanics are the most manipulative but very effective way of monetization. As a player I hate this approach, but I understand Blizzard's motives.

Auto battlers are the second worst genre of games behind only battle royales.

Just built my first real deck. before just some random "good" cards. payed 1600 dust and has to pull the Zilliax 3000 from a pack for the Deathrattle deck

I do enjoy that idea! I do believe that in Marvel Snap the short matches serve to give you dopamine rushes and since they're so short you come back for "just one more", with gambling and bluffing as its core mechanic. In Hearthstone the enviroment is a lot different, so I wonder how a faster mode could be integrated into the game utilized. Maybe that's an idea best utilized for an upcoming season of Twist? After all that's what Twist is for!

Why bronze through gold? I would explore at least platinum decks. Is rather very easy to get to gold

Thanks for the video. I've returned playing HS yesterday from a maybe 8 years break haha and went with Handbuff Pal. I got exactly the deck you've recommended. Afterwards, do you have by any chance more suggestions? Like another legendary/epic that would improve my deck, I'm very lost. I've heard that the Zilliax is like super buffed rn, so maybe it ou something to kill it (the imortal one)? Thanks!

Ryecleaver is indeed too slow. Even if you have that taunt location so you can add a taunt minion in between the slices For 10 mana you can play ryecleaver -> attack then play "Rock Master Voone" But you need hand space. To have different minions types in hand like the dragon that takes one DMG at a time, that cheese elemental and the whale etc Too slow sadly. Maybe the miniset and next expansion will make it worth playing

These dust values include perils cards only? Am a returning player so I have nothing of recent xpacs. What do you recommend in that case?

While Ziliax might be problematic in terms of shifting the attention, I still think "hydration station" could use the elegant change "Mechs sont hydrate" (Since its water... and mechs...)

No board, no expansion trailer, and another empty promise. Honestly I would be inclined to fight for this game for all the years I spent on it but Blizzard is a very difficult company to defend. I think it is finally time to let hearthstone die for me, I'm no longer interested in being scammed, was a great 8 years tho, some of my best memories are in HS games, I'll drink one on that

I have no knowledge & what I am posting is just pure speculation, the statement from the executive producer reads like something that wants to tease a Hearthstone 2 but can’t due to the likelihood of community backlash. I mean, why else would there be promises but can’t specify what those features/plans would be?

Excellent show as always, thank you for showcasing my complaint (felt I lost track a little bit close to the end but I'm glad you more or less got what I was trying to say). As for the the new set, I can confidently say this might be the one where we see the Hearthstone community build various strong decks which hopefully flip the meta into a "paper-rock-scissors" format rather than have just 3 archetypes that have dominated the past 3 - 4 months.

That DK deck is super rampant right now and I dont understand why, it gets stomped by anything with AOE board clear and it just straight up concedes on turn 3 if they don't draw both grains early

Thank you for listening to my complaint! I reason I said that, The more powerful ones should go back to the old text is that, so there’s some counter play, I’ll admit Reno is a bit of a stretch but an effect as oppressive as Deepminer Brann’s should have some counter play.
