I thought my Orchid had died but was reluctant to throw it away. It was given to me when I was in treatment for cancer, nearly 5 years ago and I am coming up for my final review before, hopefully a discharge from hospital. Hence my reluctance to give up on it. I felt it would be a ‘bad omen’. Happily and joyously I found a shoot on the cut down flower stem from the previous bloom. I was very happy then because it gave me a newer confidence that all will be okay on that 🤞 final oncology review. Hence I was interested to find out how orchids propagate because until I saw that shoot (actually I have 2 on that stem), I didn’t realise that this was possible. All the online advice said to cut ‘no longer flowering stems’ down as low as possible, until I found you. Thank you orchid friend 🌟💞
I’m very rarely impressed by propagation techniques. However, this is very IMPRESSIVE!!!

I think Cinamon is used to fight against fungus or bacteria
It's an antiseptic
