i love this but i was wondering if you could do tabs for DONT WANNA SLEEP by Maneskin
Hey dude, how comfortable are those Ibanez SR300's? I have my eye on one because of it's thin neck. Can you explain how it feels compared to a P bass or a J bass. Thanks! (Great cover by the way)
Hey, sure. So first off my SR300 is extremely old, like at least 20 years I think, and if you are buying new now I know they've changed things, but presuming it's pretty similar I really love this bass for the price. It was my first bass so I didn't compare it to a P Bass until much later. As you say the neck is extremely thin, up by the head it feels like it's hardly there at all haha, makes it really easy to move fast. The main other difference is it's a lot lighter than my P bass as well. Personally I don't have any issues with a P basses weight (yet at least!) but I know people that move over to Ibanez if they have back issues or just really long gigs because of that reason. It is also an active bass so you have a wider range of tones that you can get out of it. I'd always say try one out first if you can, but i've recommended the SR300 to a lot of people so I think you'd enjoy it :)
