Mind Blowing Hidden Cave in the Grand Canyon

- This cave is hidden in the heart of the Grand Canyon , Arizona. The only way to get to this cave is by taking a raft down the Colorado River and climbing into the cave through a waterfall. Enjoy my footage of my family exploring the cave. www.arizonafpv.com
Travertine Falls, for anyone wondering. Pretty easy stop on a private trip, and I know Hualapi River Runners stop there whenever they can.
Why not just let people listen to the conversations going on there and experience the atmosphere, rather than make me listen to that god awful and totally irrelevant backing track?
Batch No. 1 I agree. It would be a much better experience if the actual sound was present instead of music. That's usually people like to watch these nice videos is to get away from the man made things including music. Nice video though.
Probably non-stop racist slur after racist slur start to finish...
Only reason I can imagine for replacing natural audio with that ladder-dancing music!
Can anyone plz tell me why oh why do u ppl think it necessary to add this annoying & usually overly loud music to ur videos? R u just practicing ur editorial skills? Plz stop! There have been so many vids that I had to discontinue watching bc of obnoxious background music! Save urself the trouble & the ears of the rest of us! Plz?!
@@vickilawrence7207 ...Why stop watching the video? Why not just turn the volume down on the audio?
@@wegapaul3616 ...Why would there be racist slurs in this video? Your comment makes no sense.
Spectacular AwSome ..daring adventure ..stunning waterfalls
It's a cool looking place, but I would have rather liked to hear the natural sounds of the water rushing instead of the music that was looping round and round...just assayin.
I agree with you I don't like the music I'd rather hear natural sounds
@@chrismaupin9318 The natural sounds would be people talking and screaming . It's impossible for people to shut up when they get excited. You still wouldn't hear the "natural sounds".
So very kewl! Thanks for taking us along!
KernalPanic - great video and beautiful waterfall, thanks for sharing.
I’ve also been to this canyon/waterfalls while whitewater rafting on the Colorado River. Isn’t this on land owned by the Hualapai Native Americans? We went with the Hualapai River Runners when I was 16. Best trip ever and I have huge respect for the tribe and their land!
Trespassing
There were other people before the natives that lived there. The whole history of the US is a lie
Travertine Canyon is not a cave, obviously. It is however, a nice waterhole on a hot summer day and is visited by 25,000 folks a year, mostly by commercial raft passengers. It can be accessed by trail from above with a Hualapai hiking permit. Non- commercial river runners don't use ladders and ropes to get up there. More challenging that way nest pas?
Wow- thanks for sharing. Also great you all experienced it first hand- you all must be close.
That is an amazing formation, but it's a narrow canyon cut by water, not a cave. Even so, it is quite a find. The grand canyon has never been duplicated in North America, so everything about that place is amazing.
Don't let them mislead you in the title they didn't find it they're on a commercial expedition with a rafting company obviously
Just added this to my to do list, thanks for sharing
looks like an awwsome adventure..jealous
this is a slot canyon, not a cave.
Yeap, don't wanna be there when it rains up stream!
ye mum has a cave
ye mum has a cave
ye mum has a cave
his mum has a cave, you know.
Wow! Really cool footage! Way to go.
I'm exhausted from the climb! ;) Cool video. Thanks...
woohoo looks like amazing fun!!!
who cares what name you call it-I am thankful for the sharing of this video, because I never knew about this place nor will I ever have the opportunity to go there. All the negative post are people jealous and know only how to express poke fun to make themselves feel superior-ha no way.
Thank you Casis, I have some new adventures and better editing on the videos coming out soon. I don't pay attention to the haters.
Good for you- my favor saying is: Ignore the ignorant for they have to live with themselves and I can walk away. Looking forward to the new adventures. Perhaps you have a book in the making! :)
casis well Haters gon hate, and ain'ters gon ain't.
Beautiful..thank you for sharing!!😀
ITS NOT HIDDEN IF IS HAS A LADDER LOL
Beautiful Disaster lol
Beautiful Disaster ur fat
what music instrumental beat is that playing?
Mind blowing and wow it has steps too!
THIS IS AWESOME!!!
Caught myself drumming along.. you need to explore some of the caves in the forbidden zones of GC.
This Blows My Mind!
SUCH GREAT ADVENTURES...............
I actually love this 4 minutes of video. No pretense, just the excitement of finding a place like this. Not the first to see it but they were the first to think it worthy of sharing. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Awesome. I want to go now! So what if it's not a cave. It's beautiful and inspiring.
Cool cave just thank of all the places hidden in the jungles of south amer- or other parts of
the world were very few people have been. and who knows how many lost cites out still
out there to be found, and some may even be under ground,
At Fort Hood in Texas we use to find things in the rock cliffs that had to be old 100 or 1000
years or more but who knows if your ever station at Ft Hood try looking around Belton lake but wlatch out and keep safty first .thanks for posting
cool video. would be fun to stumble on something like that.
It is not a cave. nor a gorge. nor a slot Canyon.
this is known as an "overfall" a surplus of water from a large source above the fall that spills down and over and creates a waterfall effect.
this is known as Travertine Falls it is below Diamond Creek at Colorado River mile 228.
35,000+ river rafters a year visit this fall. it is over visited and over loved and often covered in trash unfortunately.
didn't your guide tell you any of this? if she or he did not...well, you didn't have a very good guide then ;)
glad you enjoyed your trip! #protectgrandcanyon
I enjoyed the video very much, water looked GREAT! Don't really go along with the "hidden" part but if it adds a little "curiosity" to. get ppl to watch your video and maybe entice them to go to three canyon, more power to you!
I was so expecting a more "off the beaten trail no one ever came here before" type exploration.
Nice vid Thanks for sharing
Very nice. Well done.
Its not so hidden if all those people know about it. Seems pretty public.
Pressed play > heard music > pressed pause > left...
Daniel Shaolin thanks for taking the time to comment on my first ever video
KernalPanic
Haha, you’re welcome, honestly that music is too annoying for me to even watch for 10 seconds, there are plenty of sources to get royalty free background music.. I suggest you re-upload
Daniel Shaolin this is my first video of hundreds why don't you go check out some of my recent work
This not a cave, but just a small part of the big canyon.
not a cave
not hidden
not mind blowing
Three strikes.
FAIL
cool place, but not worth the disappointment.
For all the reasons mentioned:
Thumbs down.
annoying music, working on out 2.
Joe King thanks for your comment Joe please go watch some of my latest videos and see if I've improved
Awesome video. Did you find any snake? Snake like to be close to cold climates when is super hot. This place seem to be perfect place for them.
when the music started, I stopped
Really bad music....had to turn the sound off..
plenty of those mind blowing places around
You want to check the weather forecast for the entire watershed region before visiting places like this. They can flash flood in an instant and leave you pinned in one of those holes carved into the sidewalls.
The world is a beautiful place
Pigette West yes... and a prison planet for the moment
Wow thank you for the cool vid.
That's freakin cool, thanks for sharing the find!
Beautiful. I love this virtual tour of the cave.
Wow you found an ancient waterfall with an ancient ladder to climb up. 😄 🤣
Go look at latest
Fascinatingly beautiful place.
great vid thanks
Our cave FPV video rocks!
look, a hidden cave with a rope and ladder!
What are the odds !!
Daniel Boone - Dan'l, isn't this the unfindable virgin slot cave system?
With 40 people walking in-and-out
is it a cave?looks cool place for sure.what ever u call it its made due to water flow for don't know how long tht process went on and at what amount of current and the amount of water carrved that place. nice and cool sight for sure.thumbs up.
Love this video so much! Although, I am unable to find out which company brings you to this location? Any information would be greatly appreciated! I am going to be visiting the Grand Canyon in a few months time
Msg me at brian@arizonafpv.com I'll send all info on trip.
Thanks for sharing
that was amazing, so beautiful, your title is wrong tho.
Travertine Falls below Diamond. Not an unknown. And very cool!
Hey, I've been there! Still one of the best things I've ever done was the trip from Lee's Ferry to Diamond Creek. This is one for anyone's bucket list.
Just posted the white water rafting trip that took place before and after the cave video on my channel. Check it out thanks for the comment.
KernalPanic Why didnt you all go to the egyptian cave system their and take photographs
hate that music
RICK and it hates you!
This is my second video I ever made UA-cam automatically added it for me check out some of my new work and let me know what you think
@@azdeatherage you're a clickbait turd
We found some places like this near Yuma Az. very awesome :}}
Yes!!! My second favorite song. My first favorite is from the other grand canyon video that has that fast porno bass guitar in it.
Looks more like a ravine cut into the rock instead of a cave. But man it's beautiful.
called a slot canyon but still cool always wanted to raft the Canyon, hike iit every year with kids from my classes outta Texas
thank you that was amazing to see this.....
Wow very very cool!!
Thats Lake Mohave, Arizona side about 10 minutes North of Willow Beach by boat. By the way that water is actually warm because the water fall is a hot spring.
must have been one hell of a light on your camera
How beautiful, just sublime
Never heard of such a theory. Fascinating. Your vacation video was a bit long, but still very pretty. Where was that location? Kinda reminds me of a seitch from Dune, without the water of course. I'll be looking into your stuff more. You make a fellow Tucsonan proud.
cool place to explore, lucky folks 😃
Beautiful.....thank you
wow, what a cool place.
Beautiful place! Is that water alkaline? Might be a good source of water for drinking. I'd love to be able to test it in a lab, along with some of those pebbles and stones laying about.
It is likely primary water from the plumbing of the melted buildings they and it are in.
So yes among other benefits
Amazing!
I thought I knew of most places in the GC but I do not know of this place. I'm needing to go there!
P.S. please cut the annoying music, your in nature.
That's a funky beat bro ,
NOT A CAVE ! Just a wash ! Still cool ! Thanks for sharing .
They should climb that waterfall and seek the source of that water in where it's coming from.
I've been hearing for years that there's much more crazy shit to be found in the massive expanse of the grand canyon than this - not that this isn't really cool - it's very cool. I've heard numerous times throughout the last 10 years that there's even a pyramid there somewhere, obscured from above somehow (cave? cliff? ...) ... I don't know if I believe that, I can't exactly discount the possibility of ancient ruins there. It would easily be possible for something like that to go undiscovered for centuries - it's just that vast. A pyramid or tomb? skeptical but interesting all the same... I wish I had the resources to make expeditions throughout places like that - I'd spend the entire rest of my life doing so.
Oh the amount of lies about the canyon, and the restricted access areas are much more intriguing than just the pyramids and rumored Egyptian 'style' mummies.
The whole canyon (hell the whole world) appears to be a melted destroyed acropolis. There is evidence of quarrying beyond the mining they let you know about.
I'm talking huge earth moving water displacement looking for something type quarrying.
I have seen some drone footage that show structures buried in brick ash and mud from the top to the bottom of a wall face.
Pillars arched doorways and passages windows domes spires...
It's overwhelmingly sobering and fascinating.
Research MudFloods
Awake from historical amnesia
Prolly a lot of these type of things we don't know yet.
Truly awesome place!
Er...wait.. very strange cave it has no roof like structure, to enclose it and qualify it as a cave. its just a river that's worn down through the ages.. I don't want to burst your bubble, it doesn't qualify as a cave.
Arr! You found me treasure cove!
Fun video to watch, except for the music. Was your camera's mic broken? Would have been great to hear the waterfalls, and I agree this isn't a cave, but a beautiful mini-canyon, and yeah, it's a little bit hidden, even though it appears to be heavily visited. Thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a lot of fun.
I'm sorry to be technical but that is called a slot canyon .
Not a cave.
Caves have a celling and are underground.
Still a cool place thanks for showing
Dang bro, not many people like your music. Does this place have a name? I'm planning a trip in a few months. It looks very cool (even with ladders). This is why I do not post. I am sure whatever I did would get hammered. It looks beautiful.
Eh, 1st video ever made, youtube stripped my song so added that one a long time ago. I've learned a lot check out some of my latest work.
Thank goodness that's all it was.
My mind is save from blowing seeing this just rocks and holes made by water.
KernalPanic why did you not climb up the last waterfall and show the source of the water? Was there an above ground (surface) river or more caves it was coming from? What is up there?
+cliff curtis probably because there were no more rope ladders and if he slipped he'd die.
Beautiful
Luv it , kicking tune 2,🍀
what's with the music! annoying!
Those places are so Dangerous... There could be a Thunderstorm 30 miles away that comes a bunch of rain and they have no idea and then it can come sliding through that little bit of a Canyon right there and kill everybody
That song is dope AF tho
good to know good lookin out
This is definitely not a cave, nor is it mind blowing. Nice crevice but not anything I would consider as being that special.
caves usually come with roofs
Lol
the beat though
It looks like a head wen u pointed near the entrance. U can see the profile with a left ear. Could be just imagining.
Thanks!! That is so beautiful, I’ve never seen anything like that. I wonder how many countless years it has taken that spring to cut through that stone that deep. I could t tell , 40 - 60 feet to the ceiling of that cut in the rock ?
INDIGENOUS NATIVE INDIAN COUNTRY....
Neat spot!
We enjoyed this same cave. It is like no other I've ever seen. Beautiful place, and video.
