Mike did not clarify anything about the drunk incident, all he can say was Bret was a troublemaker in their area. Come on, people, why assume you know everything. Stories of both parties were unclear of the situation, "clear as mud".

I followed Brett for a short while last year when he was staying in kulas house but was soon put off by his behaviour. Way too emotional. I just subbed to this channel.
I have been a follower of bret and butter since and till now, heard his side of story. I didn't see anything wrong for what bret has explained. But who am i to judge? We only heard his side. I used to watch Brett and fighter boys for a bit. It got tiring, but bro why do Filipinos suck up to these white foreigners so much? I do feel Filipinos kiss foreigners so much it’s sad and annoying. I don’t think many foreign vloggers mean bad, but some can mean shitty. And. For mg opinion, I do think Bret is a decent guy and likes this country but “likes”. Then he should have been dealt with more sensitivity and longer patience if he’s not behaving well and might be mentally sick. The other guy meanwhile lost his sense of understanding and did not extend his patience enough to wait ‘till all of them are sober to address the issue. They’re supposed to be helping him with whatever issues he’s having and advice to seek professional help if they’re really his friends and concerned of his well being. Apparently nobody thought that way but instead the alcohol took over. That would not solve anything with their ongoing problem of his behavior but hurt him instead when he was left alone from getting potential assault . Their friendship is ruined esp. with Kyle if he was there and didn’t do to deescalate. I’m not on Bret’s side here. Even if he instigated the situation first, the sane guys should have practiced more restrain, settle their inner conflicts and made a peaceful intervention when everyone was sober enough to sit down and have a man to man talk with him. What happened, alcohol took over which is not right in any angle. Bret in the other hand waited for 6 months to air his disappointments instead of settling his differences with the boys before leaving the country. It’s also a poor taste making it public when it’s supposed to be dealt privately but who is in need of help here?

Thank you for standing up for Kulas and Kumar and the gang. Loyalty is not something Bret understands. He is such a narcissist where he feels everyone needs to cater to his needs. He forgot that Kulas and Kumar welcomed him to their home and this is how he pays them back. He brings drama everywhere he goes. Mikegyver, based on Bret’s allegations, sorry, I’d like to ask why nobody step in to clear the situation? Was everybody drunk? Was Kulas there or how about you? I hope there was somebody responsible enough to break the physical altercation but he alleged nobody step in but instead allowed it to happen. If his claim is true, that’s ground for a law suit against the attacker both civil and criminal. That’s not good regardless of who instigated first. For Bret to say in his channel claiming these allegations few months after the incident, is also not good for his fractured friendship with all of you there. Was there an attempt to settle both parties after the incident when everybody was already sober? He must have left abruptly leaving the tense situation unsettled. It’s sad your friendship end up like that. This is the first time one of the foreign vloggers had such an incident with his local friends. It’s sad that he’s not welcome anymore while he may not also go back again. It should have been settled privately between concerned parties..

That’s what usually happens when there’s drinking involved. It probably started with some bottled up resentment, anger or animosity then when heavily drunk, all bets loose esp. when someone said insulting words or made fun to one another so it escalated to this. Hope Kulas will make some boundaries in his property and lessen the drinking session and “ tambayan” When he gets married everything will be changed once Therine becomes his wife. This drinking and tambay session is a potential problem regardless of whether Bret is there or not
@@BURNLEY87 I don’t think Therine was even there. This happened 6 mos. ago and yet Bret just aired it out this month when he’s not in the Phil. to work things out with the people involved. Based on Kulas previous videos around 6 mos ago, there was a get together where almost everybody attended. So, it’s probably from that event things got ugly between Bret and the Cateel boys. Anyway, he’s in Mexico doing retreat with his new found friends. He seems okay on the out front but let’s just hope what he’s doing there will help him find inner peace ‘cause he’s been lost and looking for his niche in a long time.
Hi Mike, my husband is a subscriber of your vlog. We've stayed for 3 days in your resort last May 2023. We are from Cagayan de Oro so we feel that we have a say with what has happened there. After all, we have become followers of Kulas and later on Bret since they have spent a great deal of time here in CDO. So, in lieu of this, I strongly suggest that you have to really say what really transpired there in Cateel to shed some light. You cannot just allow anyone to destroy your reputation. I don't think for anyone to just threaten to kill someone for no reason at all. There must be something...so somebody from Cateel should enlighten us what really happened on that day...as for Bret, it's his loss not ours...this is just me... it's for you to decide to divulge everything...I sympathize with Kulas... I know he's embarrassed by Bret's actions...we could only guess what really happened. I am just sad how quickly their friendship went PFFFTT just like that with that single incident alone...see what alcohol can do to people??? Chasing after a friend with a broken bottle could of had someone land in jail and have a record. From the sounds of it. Both friends wre let down by others. One by being attacked and no one stopping it and the other whose habit was excused by others so it can get worse. Both needed help and were failed One immediately and the other in the long run. Thanks for some info on the incident Mike. Based on watching videos from Kulas, Bret and KD, just my opinion and from what I've watch. The incident may have been between Kumar and Bret. Bret really outstayed his welcome from what I see. Or Kulas is also to blame for creating the tensed love triangle between Kulas>Bret>Kumar (joke) maybe Bret>Kulas>Kumar. Kulas had a video of the day Bret left the beach house and Kulas just got back to the beach house before Bret left, I can't seem to find it anymore or got deleted. In that video where Bret is leaving Cateel, you can see the cold attitude Bret had towards Kulas and watching it back before the incident came to light, Bret was not a happy man, not because he was leaving, but his friendship with Kulas was deteroriated along with the boys at the beach house. Only Kulas was the one who saw him off and Bret was reluctant to shake Kulas' hand. Anyway, the Beach House does not need a love triangle or a toxic character. Leave the drama for the Pinoy Big Brother channel!

When you become too close too comfort, you tend to neglect your surroundings and empathize on situations you're getting into. We don't know the whole story and much better to leave it that way. I’ve been watching kulas for a long time and I have to be honest I’ve always got funny vibes from bret. I’m not saying anything he’s saying is true or false, but I can see how he might have an abrasive personality. It’s very obvious he’s talking about kulas when he mentions that ‘one person’ in particular didn’t intervene, but maybe there’s a reason for that. Until we hear the fully story we cannot assume anything. Bret made some really bad generalisations about the Filipino people though, that was uncalled for.

Karon lang ko nakabalo about the trouble with Bret. I looked for Bret's videos coz I wondered why I haven't seen him in a while, and then the comments brought me here. Ako mismo naniniwala that Bret did something wrong. There was always something wrong with his interactions with Kulas and the Cateel gang. Anyway, talking about the Taiwan quake, I was actually in Taiwan climbing their highest peak, Mt. Yushan. So basically this was filmed on the day I was on the side of a mountain so terrified and wondering whether I was going to live or not. Looking back, I can laugh about it now. But anyway, tama man sad, ayaw na ninyo idignify na si Bret oi; clearly he has issues. His loss, not yours and the Cateel gang. More power, sir!

Kumader Daot also had mental health issues but he admitted it without blaming anybody and dealt with it by getting professional help. That is why he is now in a much better place.

Then he should have been dealt with more sensitivity and longer patience if he’s not behaving well and might be mentally sick. The other guy meanwhile lost his sense of understanding and did not extend his patience enough to wait ‘till all of them are sober to address the issue. They’re supposed to be helping him with whatever issues he’s having and advice to seek professional help if they’re really his friends and concerned of his well being. Apparently nobody thought that way but instead the alcohol took over. That would not solve anything with their ongoing problem of his behavior but hurt him instead when he was left alone from getting potential assault . Their friendship is ruined esp. with Kyle if he was there and didn’t do to deescalate. I’m not on Bret’s side here. Even if he instigated the situation first, the sane guys should have practiced more restrain, settle their inner conflicts and made a peaceful intervention when everyone was sober enough to sit down and have a man to man talk with him. What happened, alcohol took over which is not right in any angle. Mikegyver, based on Bret’s allegations, sorry, I’d like to ask why nobody step in to clear the situation? Was everybody drunk? Was Kulas there or how about you? I hope there was somebody responsible enough to break the physical altercation but he alleged nobody step in but instead allowed it to happen. If his claim is true, that’s ground for a law suit against the attacker both civil and criminal. That’s not good regardless of who instigated first. For Bret to say in his channel claiming these allegations few months after the incident, is also not good for his fractured friendship with all of you there. Was there an attempt to settle both parties after the incident when everybody was already sober? He must have left abruptly leaving the tense situation unsettled. It’s sad your friendship end up like that. This is the first time one of the foreign vloggers had such an incident with his local friends. It’s sad that he’s not welcome anymore while he may not also go back again. It should have been settled privately between concerned parties..

That’s what usually happens when there’s drinking involved. It probably started with some bottled up resentment, anger or animosity then when heavily drunk, all bets loose esp. when someone said insulting words or made fun to one another so it escalated to this. Hope Kulas will make some boundaries in his property and lessen the drinking session and “ tambayan” When he gets married everything will be changed once Therine becomes his wife. This drinking and tambay session is a potential problem regardless of whether Bret is there or not

Based on Kulas previous videos around 6 mos ago, there was a get together where almost everybody attended. So, it’s probably from that event things got ugly between Bret and the Cateel boys. Anyway, he’s in Mexico doing retreat with his new found friends. Hi Mike, my husband is a subscriber of your vlog. We've stayed for 3 days in your resort last May 2023. We are from Cagayan de Oro so we feel that we have a say with what has happened there. After all, we have become followers of Kulas and later on Bret since they have spent a great deal of time here in CDO. There must be something...so somebody from Cateel should enlighten us what really happened on that day...as for Bret, it's his loss not ours...this is just me... it's for you to decide to divulge everything...I sympathize with Kulas... Thanks for some info on the incident Mike. Based on watching videos from Kulas, Bret and KD, just my opinion and from what I've watch. The incident may have been between Kumar and Bret. Bret really outstayed his welcome from what I see. Or Kulas is also to blame for creating the tensed love triangle between Kulas>Bret>Kumar (joke) maybe Bret>Kulas>Kumar.
Kulas had a video of the day Bret left the beach house and Kulas just got back to the beach house before Bret left, I can't seem to find it anymore or got deleted. In that video where Bret is leaving Cateel, you can see the cold attitude Bret had towards Kulas and watching it back before the incident came to light, Bret was not a happy man, not because he was leaving, but his friendship with Kulas was deteroriated along with the boys at the beach house. Only Kulas was the one who saw him off and Bret was reluctant to shake Kulas' hand. Anyway, the Beach House does not need a love triangle or a toxic character. Leave the drama for the Pinoy Big Brother channel!

I’ve been watching kulas for a long time and I have to be honest I’ve always got funny vibes from bret. I’m not saying anything he’s saying is true or false, but I can see how he might have an abrasive personality.

Anyway, talking about the Taiwan quake, I was actually in Taiwan climbing their highest peak, Mt. Yushan. Honestly Mike since first watching Bret's content i thought he was over acting and too much of a clown. And watching his recent video he really didnt explain what happened that clearly. Im disappointed in him if he caused trouble for everyone there.

Kumader Daot also had mental health issues but he admitted it without blaming anybody and dealt with it by getting professional help. That is why he is now in a much better place.
