Just go to appearance > theme editor > Choose theme to edit (upper right) > choose theme header (below it) > paste your code after > save changes then go back to adsense account. 👍

I would recommend using the Google Site Kit Plugin over any third party plugin to add ads to your site. Works way better with Adsense and actually displays your revenue right in the Wordpress dashboard.
Question: 1) Do I need to add the Google Site Kit plugin first? Or only these steps as you showed? They are superb btw. 2) How long after I create an account does it take for Google to review?

Unfortunately, Google is still unable to verify my website. So, I have to theories; the code is wrong or the plugin doesn't work correctly with my website. Still trying to contact the Adsense but they keep sending me the same video to watch :(
@@primenwproperty Hi, I finally managed to verify the ownership of my website using Google Search Console. They have a useful guide on where to add the verification code depending on who is hosting your domain. Then I used the above video to add ads units. I hope you find it helpful!
