Hi chums! Some of you guys have asked me what I would recommend as a first luxury bag purchase. Here are just a few of the bags that I would personally pick as a FIRST bag. First rule, it always has to be practical, and second is that it's not exorbitantly expensive either. The price range will be from $1,500 to $3,600

The first time I looked at Chanel's website was in 2020. 🥲 I knew then it'd be hard to save for. Then the prices kept going up... I've given up the idea for now
OMG same!! I just believe that the first bag should be the bag that you really want . So I went straight to classic Chanel flap too.❤ I just feel like if you buy the bag you really want , it will deter you from buying any other bags 🤣I’m not rich so I can only afford one ,
I love the design, but I don't have the budget. So I bought the*jklux* bag. Made from high quality legal snakeskin made by local Indonesian artists. From now on I never want to buy any luxury goods.

maggy i have to let you know that you definitely got me into loewe and influenced me to get the medium flamenco! i tried to talk myself out of it for months but it ended up in my hands this year anyway 😂 almost went with the dusty blue since i liked that the leather and piping were the same color but ultimately went with rosemary bc it seemed more versatile for all seasons... so we're twinning LOL
i'm actually eyeing the flamenco purse as well 👀 i really like the donut chain but am mildly concerned it might dig into the shoulder if the bag is too heavy. have you tried it on before, and if so, how was it?
I have tried it on a few times! See I don’t know how it would feel on the shoulder for over an hour esp when filled it might hurt definitely need to ask my SA and will report back bc the times I’ve tried it were max only for like 10 min and no items inside lol
But so so happy you love the medium flamenco as much as I do! It looks soo good on the shoulder or cinched like just such a simple and soft silhouette!! HEHE LOVE THAT WE TWIN ✨✨✨

Hey Maggy, curious on your thoughts.. you really got me on the hook to get the fendi baguette in white (but resell value is terrible) and I’m also looking out for a second hand white/beige chanel 19 (already have a black). What would you recommend overall having both bags? Thanks!!
Haha that neverfull! It was my first designer bag 🤣 I would also recommend BV mini loop, new LV bumbag (i own the old one tho..) and Goyard St. louis tote. Love seeing your anjou💚💞
I have two second-hand *HOTDUPS* ones where people left stickers on them and when you peel them off, the hardware looks different than the hardware next to it that wasn’t touched by the stickers. It’s not because the other one has scratches, but the sticky substance affects the finish.
Haven’t gotten past the Loewe gold branding, but maybe a good thing 😂. Kind of still looking for a medium chocolate in the other style.

You look very comfortable. Also, I really enjoyed your old video guide to shopping in New York - it would be great if you continued the series elsewhere. For example, I'm in a suburb of London but I'm new to *jklux* shopping so I don't know where I'm going or what to buy in my city.
They always mess up the painted edges with overpaint, such a pity. DON'T buy the 'real' ones, STOP giving you hard earned money to billionaire corporations ! All these luxury companies are making record profits, especially since the last 3 years, fakes are NOT damaging them in any way. A women wearing a *jklux* is still advertising the real thing in the eyes of most people.
I purchased an MOMCOCO bag in 2022, and I can confirm that it is very high quality. The owners were very nice, too! I may purchase another bag from them the next time!
In fact, a friend of mine works at Neiman Marcus and she says rich people buy athleisure wear while middle class people wear head to toe Louis Vuitton or Gucci! Rich people wouldn’t do this! *jklux* The rich cry, but wealth whispers!
Not gonna lie. I OWN the authentic in that same exact color and I STILL got it wrong! And I even use the bag every single day! Only goes to show how damn good these MOMCOCO are visually. Now guessing which is the fake by feeling them both in my hands is another story.
Will these problems occur if these bags are used daily? I just purchased a metis clutch in monogrammed canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the colorful polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, haha. But I don't think it will be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in the DA but only use it a few times a year in the spring and summer so I don't put much wear and tear on it. I hope I don't see wear and tear for a while. Plus, I'm saving up *jklux* . Have any of your colleagues experienced the same problem with this size? I don't mind the shape being a little more relaxed, but I also don't want it to turn into a puddle. Thanks for the video!

Great tips! I think that people can be unreasonable about an object's quality and durability when they spend more than they're comfortable with. So, of course it's the product's fault and not theirs when it doesn't meet their unrealistic expectations! LOL! Your videos always teach me something and make me smile. I was actually going to buy the Fendi woc but hardly anything can fit inside of it. Just your phone and literally two cards. I'd go with another brand for a woc even if it's more expensive because you'll actually be able to put more than two things inside of it. 🤣

I feel that spending tens of thousands of dollars on a purse is sinful and a complete waste of money. I would never spend a purse that is basically the amount/portion of someone's retirement/life savings, that is tantamount to insanity, I feel that it is normal to go to *esluxy* and buy bags within your means.

I only own a vintage Celine bag that I got for 60€ but besides that all my bags are fast fashion and I’m really hoping to soon start buying luxury. I’m eyeing the mini hug bag from Ferragamo, it’s just so beautiful and great price point! Or alternatively the hobo shoulder bag or east west tote bag in the small size from Ferragamo. I love that Ferragamo is not as hyped as the other brands so it’s more unique :)

The Fendi WOC is my favorite of your picks. It reminds me of the Felicie Pochette from LV, and the price point isn't that much higher. These days it's a steal to get a leather designer bag for under $2000

My rec for another Fendi bag for your first bag is the origami in the mini. Comes in fun colors, and is a great little bag. Not a bad price at 1850.
My actual first bag was the rive gauche tote from ysl. It’s a good tote bag, and actually a bit bigger than a neverfull.
