such great insight into the galadriel and sauron duel! it really was a highlight of the series for me.
I love listening to Charlie's answers on questions about Sauron and Sauron's motivations, he give great insight because he played as Sauron, and try to convey as much of Sauron as possibly from the books that he read, and put together mannerisms, expressions, behaviours, reactions, etc, into the live action Sauron and Charlie has been absolutely killing it. I'm always seated when his scenes come on because I know he'd make the scenes so good. Great interview, great questions and great answers.
He's a great actor.
The acting and writing has really impressed me.
Well you're one of a small minority then
I agree. Charlie Vickers really killed it this season!!
i love this show. always watch with my father.
I love the show but I hope the wait for season 3 is not as long!
will be longer. they havent event started filming yet.. maybe its for the best, so we dont get a shitshow as season 1 and 2
@@cptblack9801season 2 was amazing
Pre-production has started but it will take some time
I can wait as long as it needs 😌 any good work takes a lot of time
This is nitpicky of me, and I do understand what the host means by “getting into spoilers”, but once an episode comes out and a general audience has seen it and is seeking out after show interviews, they’re not really spoilers so much as details. But again, not a problem and I do know what he means. Awesome interview with a class act like Charlie Vickers!
Sad! There is no hope for Saurondriel to be together.😢
Dude the ship sank the moment he killed and tortured her brother. 😂
It wasn't canon to begin with anyway... Now this is where fanfics come in hand XDD
Finally I have prove this journalist site is amazon biased. Any tolkien fan hats this shit show
❤❤❤❤❤
🤢
Galadriel was in love with Halbrand, confirmed by a writer of the show. Disgusting and stupid, a desecration of Tolkien work.
The show is made for idiots.
Charlie looks hungover and very uninterested in the interview you can tell he was winging it as he went along.
? He's probably very tired from doing all the press tours and travelling for the events leading up to the season 2 final. Media days are very exhausting. Charlie did very well and gave out interesting answers.
its disgusting that they want to team up sauron and freaking galadriel... disgusting writing.
This whole season was about them growing apart. Also, Sauron's strength lies in deceiving and tempting powerful foes.
@@MrPeaceGuy54 the actor literally just said sauron tried to get galadriel to team up with him… did u even watch the video? And the fact we’re even talking about this is insane… im a big fan of tolkiens work but i sincerely hope they cancel this shitshow
@@cptblack9801 I am not as fixated upon closely following the original source as some are, but you are absolutely right about the show having plenty of flaws. Scale, plot inconsistencies, and other problematic elements do remain. At the same time, characters like Sauron, King Durin, Celembrimbor, etc., have done well. The Balrog was excellent too. Considering that there are more seasons remaining than finished, I have hope that the flood of criticism will lead to some sort of improvement. This is the advantage that a show has and a single movie doesn't. At the same time, they may be saving some resources for what comes later.
I am sorry, but I didn't notice the actor using the words "team up". Could you please let me know when he said this? The actor said that Sauron wanted Galadriel to join him. I don't necessarily have any issue with this. All of us know that Galadriel is powerful. Sauron could gain a great ally through her. In addition, we also know that Sauron was corrupted over time. Tolkien himself said that Sauron was close to pure evil at his height, but even he wasn't absolutely evil. Therefore, some traces of the light remaining wouldn't be surprising.
I do understand your disappointment, my friend. There is much that needs to be done. If they don't take the feedback of people like you, who are knowledgeable about this universe, then they will only meet their downfall. In that case, this show will remain forgotten. Nevertheless, I am an optimistic person, and with the presence of the internet, I hope that they will pay attention and move towards rectifying their errors.
May you have a great day!
@@cptblack9801 Seems like you haven't watched it but their whole interaction so far in this series has been about Sauron getting inside Galadriel's mind, trying to corrupt, deceive, and manipulate her, as he does with everyone; and Galadriel learning to keep him out of her mind. In the final episode she says to Sauron "The door is shut", a reference to what she said to Frodo in LotR: "I perceive the Dark Lord and know his mind, or all of his mind that concerns the Elves. And he gropes ever to see me and my thought. But still the door is closed!”.
It's not like Sauron in the show just wants to be friends with Galadriel because he has a crush on her, or whatever you're thinking.
There are valid criticisms to be made of the show, most of them stemming from the fact that they are only allowed to adapt material from LotR and The Hobbit (the books), meaning they are severely limited. But you're just blindly hating and being hysterical.
