Amber, I feel your pain! I am also still trying to figure out my planner set up. Do you have access to a computer and printer? Perhaps you could design your own lay out. That is what I like to do, make my own printables. My suggestion would be to do a search and just look at a bunch of different layouts. I have decided to use blank paper for each topic that I am "planning or tracking". From that I will see how much room I need and then, I will cut it and try to piece it together to make my own layout. I use microsoft excel for everything. I have also started using canva some to make things pretty. I definitely think obvious sections and headers for each section will help. I hope you and I both can find our way soon! I enjoy your channel very much and love to watch you decorate your planner. Hang in there!
You could remove the pages you have already used/decorated and sell the planner for a reduced price. That way, you could recoup some of your money. I have used Tul planners before. The paper quality is pretty decent.
when you have extra stuff that comes up during the week and no where to write... I put in a half sheet in the center, date the top of it, decorate it if you want to.
Hey, have you tried a plum paper planner? They have sections. You may have to simplify your process or dedicate a day for brainstorming/pre-planning, but since you're making sections, that planner may work well. The sections are customizable: ie. journal section, dinner, bible study, personal to do, work to do, daily notes (ie your sons accomplishment). I think the process of flipping back and forth is exhausting and draining you. It seems good, but that's a lot to manage. I think you're looking to minimize and simplify while maintaining quality.
I definitely understand your frustration of purchasing this with your limited funds as a SAHM as I am in the same boat. Maybe, to get use out of what you have already spent your money on, you could try not having the section for work and only putting those items into the schedule area and the same with your cleaning section; maybe take it out and only leave your master list and your daily, weekly, monthly needs list to pull from 🤷♀️ that would be 2 less spreads to decorate and 2 less planner sections to flip to and it seems you are writing everything down multiple times anyway. Just my thoughts I hope you find what works best for you!
This was the wrong video for me to watch. I'm brand new to the concept of planners, and so far, I have been playing with the cheap, spiral bound college ruled notebooks. I don't feel the need for a wellness planner or meal planner. I don't work so I obviously don't need one for that. All I need is a calendar that has at least 1" square boxes for each day of the month, and another place I can keep track of all of my sermon notes and Scripture writing. You have succeeded in thoroughly confusing me! Lol! Purging household items is an excellent idea. There's far less to take care of, which is wonderful. Good luck to you. :)

You might need to try to find some inserts to print yourself so you can get exactly what your want.

Maybe a daily planner would work better for your situation rather than a week on 2 pages. I use one planner and it’s a day on 2 pages

Might be cheaper to create what u want on canva and print it yourself… then u can punch them & use ur happy planner covers & discs
