Intermezzo - Ka nani a'o Ka'u (The beauty of Ka'u)

As a tribute to Uncle George Na'ope (who passed away in 2009) the Nâ Kumu Hula danced on stage accompanied by some of their haumana to this song composed by him. You can see Kumus Kapi'olani Ha'o, Olana Ai, Snowbird Bento, Mâpuana De Silva, Keali'i Reichel, Rae K. Fonseca, among others, as wellas judges, the Japanese Friends Delegation, and people and haumana amidst the public.

101th like i am. I met Uncle George through Iwalani, who I met through Uncle Norman who i met in the old Naniloa piano lounge. Uncle George changed the lives of thousands of Japanese people with Iwalani. Thank you Uncle George. You are missed.
