The story is found in the Book of Hosea displaying the grand love of God lived out in a common everyday man. Only self-less love from a wounded healer will continue to pursue the object of their love in spite of being rejected and burned deeply through indifference, rejection or infidelity. There are different types of love, but there’s one that rises above all, it’s known as Agape Love, a selfless love, that always wills the best of another. As one poet has defined it: “it is the Love for the one who inflicts pain. The tortured’s love for the torturer. This is God’s love, it conquers the world!”

This song grew closer to me over time and I hope you enjoy it. I am blessed to have this adventure with a fellow musician, songwriter & lover of Christ. We look forward to bringing many more songs to all of you. After this album we will be doing a mix of songs by Mike and myself. I’ve come to believe this is our work now.
