Composed by Mike Ginese #MikeAndDawnGinese This is a song about the most powerful, tragic and gutsy love affair ever written. The story is found in the Book of Hosea displaying the grand love of God lived out in a common everyday man. Only self-less love from a wounded healer will continue to pursue the object of their love in spite of being rejected and burned deeply through indifference, rejection or infidelity. There are different types of love, but there’s one that rises above all, it’s known as Agape Love, a selfless love, that always wills the best of another. As one poet has defined it: “it is the Love for the one who inflicts pain. The tortured’s love for the torturer. This is God’s love, it conquers the world!”
