I have the same one but with 2 GB of RAM and its still faster than a lot of standard infotainment systems that come in many cars. Since you'll never really be using more than one app at once 2 gigs are more than enough. Maybe even 1 gb does the trick.

Not only that... About the shortcomings... The scanning/warning signs your normal display does, doesn't show on this new android display. I'm interested in this android display but the shortcomings especially with the sound system and that of the onboard scanning when u start your 407 is my own concern.
Dont spread misinformation! With the correct canbus decoder, the android display will show EVERYTHING on screen. Just dont buy the scheap displays... I have bought one for my Peugeot, it was 260USD, but has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and everything works.
