Which USB controller would you recommend for DIY CNC Controller with UCCNC? Currently i have UCCNC for Stepcraft but i would like to move to bigger machine and keep UCCNC software.

hello, I am the owner of the stepcraft plotter UCCNC control software during work, the cutter should rise to 5 mm, it happens that the cutter will rise to "0" while the program is about 5mm when it starts milling, say depth of -3mm and milling then at -8mm, why is this diet, I'm just starting with cnc

Hi, Most issues related to Z height problems stems from CAD/CAM work offset height settings or from actual work offset (Z heights) on the router. If it was me I'd double/tripple check all work and model heights and offsets in your CAD model and make sure it translates to what you do set it to in the machine (UCCNC). Hope this helps..

Hi, I honestly don't know anything about the Shapoko or it's controller or the software that might accompany it. Sorry for that....
