Glad to see it’s not too difficult, about to change the rear speakers on my beater 01 cavalier, left rear is blown and right rear has genuinely given up and stopped making noise completely. The interior on these cars is built with the cheapest plastic known to man, but the engines are pretty much bulletproof. I bought mine with a snapped timing chain, but none of the valves or pistons were damaged, so it was as simple as throwing a new chain on.
My first car was a brand new dodge avenger se 2014, but i bought a lil cavalier 2003 LS Sport for 300 bucks, runs and drives well has cosmetic damage, very good lil dependable car to drive as a back up! Im very impressed with this lil car!! Ill sell it for 490 all fixed up!! Car goes to a b and c with only 180,000 miles.
@@PartyWolf36790 it’s my first car as well, but it was passed down to me from my dad and he’s been driving it for 6 years and it’s still strong and mighty with only 156,000 miles. He only bought it for 2K. I’ve done so much work to it!
great video thanks, do you have any vids on headliner removal or getting under the carpet, i am sound proofing, not sure if headliner is glued or just remove plastic panels, sunvisors and dome light.....
Unfortunately we don’t have any videos removing stuff like that but it’s actually pretty easy You just have to remove all the trim in for the carpet the center Consol and the seats
How do u change the bulbs in the over head lamp? (Dome light)? My transmissions outta sink, so 3rd is drive nuetral is reverse, i need light to shift at night lol!!
I got huge 300$ 6x9’s from visions and they got installed but now I gotta bring it in again this week under warranty because the rear deck is pushing down hard on the rear left speaker causing bad sound and less bass, other one has same problem with creases from the force but less significant and sounds better
Bro I have that same cavalier but mine is the 03 5 speed with 17 inch wheels, cold air intake, axle back exhaust with cherrybomb and exhaust tip and that thing makes Honda owners swallow their vtecs all day lol I have a video of mine on my channel nothing special but you may like it
@@procam448 I'm just wondering did you need a amp to power the speakers I got a 200w CD boss car stereo with a 400w door speakers and 6.9 500w boss back speakers I never put it in my car yet
