Along with wrapping the connections I’d recommend also heat shrink connections for extra protection but to each their own

Do you recommend replacing fuel lines and filters at the same time you are doing this?
It's an old car. We're going to sell it after the kids get their house.
The filter wasn't clogged and the fuel lines were in great shape.

@@JHTC I was a little nervous with price. Fuel pumps pricing has such a wide range. The one I order was a little higher. Hopefully it works for a long time! Last time I replaced mines was in 2019 and I got the top of the line. This is a car we do not use a lot so I believe was the main cause of the issue.
I didn't watch a video never worked on anything in my life but i ripped my fuel tank out today 👀used a roped it was nearly full of fuel no way to drain it
