Looked very peaceful. Thinking of heading up that way in September with my kayak for a few days. Any recommendations for a beginner to put in to just paddle, fish and relax for a few days? Never been up there and not sure what part of the river would be best.
We put in at Axton Landing and paddled to Raquette Falls. There are camping/ Lean to spots along the river in that direction. There are also some camping spots on Coreys Road which is what we did and drove to Axton Landing just down the road from where we camped.. It's a beautiful river to paddle. Enjoy...

@@michaelchmelko3166 We paddled from Axton Landing to Raquette falls. It does list Smallmouth and Largemouth as some of the species you will find in this section of the river.
