@@scubaveryyes. The Dive Show went bust over covid. The London Show went pop a few year ago. I’m off to Boot in Düsseldorf next year. That’s supposed to be 2 huge halls of diving but also my other love, super yachts 😍😍😍
@@UKDiver shame . I been to a few shows in Germany 🇩🇪 cars . They know how to do it plus the Germans are big on there diving . I take you will do another video. The yachts I take it you must be window shopping 🛒
I went on the Sunday and was really rather disappointed. Very few of the gear manufacturers were actually selling anything (Fourth Element etc), ones that were selling were generally selling at full retail and most of the stalls were dive holiday/charity stalls. Several of the stalls had sold out and had limited/no stock. Couldn't hear the speakers clearly either. Apparently it wasn't just me as I received an email after with a breakdown of survey results that they are hoping to address. Apparently there was an EU dive show on where a lot of the stock/retailers went instead. Hoping for better next year and I didn't come out too bad, I picked up a set of MTX-Rs for £500 and nearly got myself measured up for a dry suit (my buddy did instead!).
I heard the Sunday was quieter from friends who went. I also agree that the show as small and there simply wasn’t the retailers there that there normally would be and there was deffo some of the big names missing. I think what I was impressed with was the attendance on Saturday. It showed there is support for the dive show and I think a few of the retailers and big brands will be back for next year, assuming they have stock which with the supply chain issues has also been a challenge for some of the retailers this year.

Just one big hall. Not the biggest show I’ve been to, but really good numbers of folk there.
Hopefully next year will be bigger. Is that the only one in the uk ?
