Great video, quick and to the point. thanks. This video along with others really has helped me figure out how to troubleshoot my issues before spending that money for something that might not need to be done.
@@Electronic254-th1cv it worked briefly but would burn out fuse again.. Ended up being electrical. Some wires rubbing on metal. After fixing them wires didn’t have the problem again
Today I changed the oil on my transverse mounted for cylinder engine and accidentally drained the transmission oil I drove about 11 miles before stopping and filling it back up and fixing everything but I still have this code . Any ideas what could be causing it still
This was quite helpful but I still have 2 error codes on a 2014 Toyota Corolla (P0841 and P2829). Please what could be the cause of these codes. I have also attempted to change the transmission fluid sensor but issue still persists. Kindly advice in this regard. Thank you.
It's difficult to give an exact answer since it needs to be troubleshooted, but I would start by testing the solenoids and make sure they have the correct voltage.
I'm having the same issue on my 2018 Corolla SE! I changed the transmission fluid and filter and no luck, tonight I'm changing the solenoids. Did you ever find out what went wrong in yours?
My 2010 Ford F150 with a 5.4 triton, six speed CR 80 transmission has been acting like a neutral drop banging into first gear when it’s cold for about three stop signs and then after it warms up there are no issues I only bought this truck a year and a half ago and this just started happening wondering if this could be a bad solenoid. The fluid was low I put some Lucas transmission conditioner Universal in there and it’s still doing it. Advance auto told me when I went in to get 9 quarts of fluid and a filter did not change the filter but change the fluid since these are advanced auto guys and he’s got a tranny guy he told me don’t replace the filter or else I could cut highest pressure and caused the front seal or other seals to fail. Your thoughts? Also The Ford dealership I took it into scanned it and said there were no faults with any of the electrical parts including the frame lead that sometimes goes bad and causes the transmission Dekku feel like the symptom I’m having but the advance auto guy said it might’ve had to be doing it at the time for it to pick it up.? Your thoughts anybody?
My Corolla has had this code for 200k miles. Shutters a little at 55 but still shifts like a dream. Car got hit by a tree and looks like shit so I am not pulling the engine out of it. Still drives every day. If you care about the car get it fixed.
I got that code on my ‘19 Toyota Camry at 114,000 miles 😢. My car tends to jerk when I accelerate at times and the rpm goes high when the engine is somewhat cold.
Hi. I have a p0744 code. tcc solenoid intermittent on my 09 Nissan Rogue. Can I simply access the solenoids from the bottom of the transmission after removing the plate? If so I can check that myself. Thanks
My 2017 Pilot has 140,000 miles, the light has come off and on twice in the last 3 months, but the car is running fine. I took it to a transmission shop and the guy wanted to change the transmission for 7 grand. Any suggestions.
How do you feel when you drive the car does it jerks or hard to shift gears? If not it will be fine and when you have the check engine lightn on take it to autozone or advance auto parts shop for a free check and you will get to know the exact problem
Hi im having this code on a 2016 crv with 35k miles, a glashing d light i have. Ive replaced speed sensor, oil pressure sensor. Still have thia cose and check engine light. Transmission is shifting fine.i see a litle leak every time i park. I think i overfilled i dont have dipstick.
With a P0741 code It's the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid that has failed. Sometimes, you can find the location with Google images or in forums; otherwise, you will need a manual.
Recently got this code on my 09 Toyota Hilux So i went n got a brand new transmission put in but still getting those the code will only come up after driving long distances. What could be the cause ?

I have code P0740 In my outlander 2011 I don’t have issue with the idling or else .Just not shifting and staying in the 1st gear only.I have Drive,Reverse, neutral,Park But if i put in manual shifting plus/minus it is showing in the dashboard it is working but in the the gear it is stay in 1st gear.🤔🤔🤔Anyone encounter my problem?it is CVT type
I'll be driving and all of a sudden I'll get this code. The car will not switch gears when this happens. 1st gear disappears on the dash. I pull over and restart the car and evertything is fine.

Could poor transmission fluid flow or clogged line also generate P0741 code?

Was a new torque converter also installed? If so, then it's likely in the wiring or possibly the computer.

CVT’s don’t have gears, there is only 1 gear.
The plus/minus is only to simulate gears
