Such a fun and really unique album. This is the sound of visiting an industrial/ goth club that was turned it into a strip bar with the same clientelle still attending. Sprinkle in occult undertones and cheese horror films playing in the background while on a weird little acid trip. Meanwhile Russ Meyer is shooting a 60's style sexploitation film in the background.
Rob’s voice is a more bad-ass version of Hetfield’s earlier work (of the same time). And even better, Rob starts every second sentence shouting “YEAH”… it just doesn’t get any more quintessential heavy metal than that. Thank you White Zombie for your divine contribution… And thanks for posting the album dude.

I had Make Them Die Slowly on cassette (rip Caroline Records) and when MTV was hyping up the "debut" WZ vid, my buddy and I were like "gather around folks (at a party at the time), this is gonna SUCK!" Wow......they went from total suck to WTF just happened overnight! lolol Years later, my old band opened up for Angel Rot.......it was like listening to a demo version of Make Them Die Slowly, with a different chick bass player. Still listen to this and Astrocreep.....Rob's solo stuff is not quite the same.
First tattoo I ever got back in 2002 was a white zombie from Rob Zombie Hill Billy deluxe album. I remember going to basic training in Fort Benning Georgia and Drill Sergeant Sweat tripping out on the album pictures lol!!
