KA-52 "Alligator" - Attack Helicopter Operation (Arma 3)

KA-52 "Alligator" or Kamov Ka-52 is a Russian attack helicopter developed by JSC Kamov. KA-52 is a two-seated coaxial-rotors helicopter with an armor plate that can withstand heavy firearm damages. KA-52 is a major nightmare against armoured personnel carriers (APCs), and this helicopter is often compared with the American attack helicopter Apache AH-64.

nice bird, now next find and populate buttons like "lase target", "next target" "lock target" and "reveal target"!
Lase target is necessary every time You switching targets for cannon action!

This is a great video. Thanks for posting. It's the first one I've seen that shows how the helicopter gameplay has improved from Arma 2.
I don't have Arma 3 but I played Arma 2 to death. I liked the Ka 52 but because of the problems when switching from pilot to gunner the helo gameplay wasn't as good as it could have been. You seem to be switching between pilot and gunner without the helo crashing to the ground, is that correct? Also, it looks like the gunner can fly the helo, even when looking through the optics. Is that correct?
If you have the time could you post another video showing switching between the crew positions and using pop up tactics against some ground targets?

Any kind of mission that shows you switching from pilot to gunner and back again would be great.
I don't know if you played Arma 2 but in that game if you switched from pilot to gunner the helo would just fall to the ground. That doesn't seem to be happening in your video. Also, the gunner had no way of flying the helo but in your video you seem to be able to fly from the gunner's seat.

Curious, how do you get the AI to hover and stay in place without descending? I got the drogons air mod or whatever and still can't figure it out.

One of the strategies is to fly really high. When it descends, I have enough time to hit my targets.

how do you tell the pilot to hover in place? seems like you're using waypoints but I'm not sure if that's a separate mod
